Except that Liara has broken out of her shell over the 2 years between ME1 and ME2 and Tali has matured a bit as well.

Whose to say that their emotions wouldn't over ride their sensabilities and they start a fight.

I bet Tali could really kick some ass if fighting for your love.

Honestly, I think BioWare really missed something interesting by not having something happen between the first and second LI. Maybe not a cat fight, but. . .something!

First time through ME1 I always had Ash and Wrex. Later playthroughs have been Wrex/Tali
