Well Thane is a good example.  He looks alien enough in his body structure and facial features to be not-human, but many female players still find him attractive.  Garrus looks very alien, but lots of female players are attracted to him.  I'm kind of hoping Bioware goes that direction with Tali's face (more like Thane though: I think Garrus would be almost too alien to be attractive if I liked guys)

*delurking* This thread moves too fast for me (and some convos become...interesting ), but I figured I'd pop in to say I am a big Tali fan. I didn't realize how much I liked her as a LI until I went with Miranda and got sad at how dejected Tali seemed about the whole thing. Tali is awesome, the end.

Shepard did smile when he did put the mask off and saw her face. If she would look like a batarian, or that 4 nostrils face, i dont think he would smile but think like... WTF at first

Not every guy, but I bet there are very few that would turn down the opportunity if given it.  I certainly wouldn't.

The thing is, most men do not glue the ideas of "sex" and "relationship" together as strongly as most women do.  A man is often perfectly capable of wanting to have sex with someone that they either do not know, or wouldn't want a relationship with.  All that really is necessary is the physical attraction.  Once you look at it that way, the draw really becomes rather obvious; as long as it is sheerly "recreational", do you want to have one attractive naked woman to do things with, or two?

Clearly, once you're in a committed relationship the question is not that simple, but I'd estimate that most guys at least have thought about it.

Sorry to hear that it horrifies you so very much, though I'm not too bothered. Honestly, I loved Tali's character, but all the night elf Tali's bugged me. Sure, they're decently attractive, but Tali is alien (alien enough to have three fingers and two toes) so I designed her accordingly.
