i guess everyone here wants to f**k your sister than;)

Such a harsh word.

I would like to, romance, with Tali.
I think that fits my personality a little better.

Just like real life!

Ain't that the truth!

What makes me laugh the most is the girl talking about how "everyone wants something" when it's really her that wants something. Penis. ^_^

Nah... she wants someone to love her.
She just happens to be straight  (fortunately for me!)  ;-)
Not her fault that she can't have those feelings for girls...

Her experience with bisexuality seems to have left her feeling hollow or used.

Either way, Shepard's awesome. But with the lack of a proper dude for her I just feel sad for her lonely bald self under my engineering deck.

Alright. I've long wondered how Tali's costume changed. If you look at her character in ME you'll notice a different hood, a different helmet, a different set of torso straps of color as well as a different, what looks to be, neckpiece. It has me wondering, is this new environmental suit she has a sign of maturity from her people, or one she just felt she liked over time (I know the realistic and logical answer Bioware would give as it is to make her look older, which it does but I'm looking for the in-game explanation.) Also. Considering she does have different outfits in the game, we can go ahead and assume that she does not stay in the same suit the whole time, this will beg the questions of: Where does she change in and out of her outfits? Where does she store her other suits? Does she make her suits (as in the designs)?

There is an on-topic discussion.

Suit change is probably because she passed her pilgrimage,a nd by her people is now considered a full woman.

Change suits in a clean room, stored them probably in pressurized sterile cases, and she probably chooses the fabric to wrap around her suit... But I think the actual suit may just be universal in design and making.

There's enough good guys on the ship...

Hell even Joker could be a possible, opposites attract and all.

Now that I think about, her projecting a biotic feel around her and Joker would be kinda hot :?

My best guess is that the suit is a display of what ships she serves on.  She changed ships, so she changed uniforms.  Yeah yeah, I know someone is going to say "but quarians from lots of different ships look the same", and lots of humans in the game have the EXACT same haircut.  I'm sure if Bioware took the time and money to render the Quarians in much greater detail, you'd see suits reflective of the ships they served on.

IMO, she probably just liked the style.
Lots of the older Quarians were wearing the same type of outfit/hood that Tali wore in the first game.

While this isn't described at all, I don't think it is necessarily safe to assume that she actually removes her suit entirely.  The suits are designed to be modular, and it isn't far-fetched to imagine that the suits could have an inside "liner" that can be separated from the outside in case they need, or want, to change the look or functionality of the suit.

but the female quarian on the admiralty board has a suit just like the one tali had in me1 and shes deff already done her pilgrimage
i think the main reason she has a different outfit is to make her specifically more unique than the other quarian girls cause all there suits look the same while hers makes her more attractive and pleasing to the eye. being shes a new LI they achieved making her more attractive and special than other quarian females

Right I would think because of the Pilgramage, but we also see the possibility of her having more than one suit, which brings up another question, if she does return in Mass Effect 3, will we be seeing her the same way? I'd think the pressurized places would be one thing yes, but where would it be safest on the Normandy for her to change, how long would it take to change out of it? YOu'd think someone would be able to know what a Quarian (aside from our Shepards) looks like out of their suits because they'd have to be the one to design them, and i'm sure each of them would need to have one properly fitted.

AND lets just say they are Quarian made, could it be possible that
yeah i don't know where to go with the last sentence, I'm just trying to keep us on topic.

They can change the outer appearance of their suits since the cloth is basicly only held on to by belts etc.

Well, I know the offical reason for the costume change was because Tali was ment to look more 'mature' in the second game, but as for the 'In-character' reason, I always assumed the new suit had something to do with her new social status among her people, but there's probably a different, correct answer out there somewhere.

Quarians only seem to change their suits when they outgrow the old ones or if they become too damaged to repair. Since their suits are able to be broken off into sections to keep infections isolated, I'd had to guess that either suits are taken off and replaced one piece at a time, or there are specific 'clean enviorments' where the Quarian people can change with minimal risk.

The suits are most-likely made by a series of spechialists rather then by a single person, but it seems that each person has a say when it comes to some of the more finer details of the suit; the color of the faceplate for example.
Or it might be that each family has a offical color. These could be a way of marking members of one family from another: if so this probably is done more in tradition than as a general rule.

If I get what you're saying you mean the pieces we see that contain purple and the embroidered designs would be something they could remove and replace? That actually makes quite abit of sense.

It's a difficult question to address, because the real reason is almost certainly what you said: Bioware wanted to give her a more mature and unique look to emphasize both her growth and her importance as a character.  She's the only Quarian with a unique exosuit (I believe all the others are just the same male or female model with color swaps), and that doesn't make a lot of sense from a "realistic" standpoint.

That said:  Maybe she's just at the forefront of Quarian fashion?

If you notice the only thing that changes are the belts and the cloth... The belts seem to be holding most of the cloth onto the suit...

In her return in ME3, I'd say she'd look exactly the same with maybe a different pattern/color to her suit... For one she's still out of her pilgrimage, and two they've already got the best rendering of characters they're going to use for this generation of consoles, no need to make new ones.

Safest place on normandy would probably be the medical area, but don't forget that Quarians won't die from leaving their suit. If she needed to change her suit, she could simply take immuno boosters and make the transfer quick.

And Quarians are pretty much self-reliant, I doubt they'd outsource suit design and manufacturing.

Eh, attractions a weird thing, at times people can be attracted to things they never thought they'd like, or things they didn't like before... All depends on the person they're with, and not to mention, danger is always a little sexy ;)

I think it was suggested before that because she was "Quarian royalty" that she received a nicer suit than everyone else.  Or maybe everyone just receives the same suit, but she decided to deck hers out a bit more: add some different fabric and colors to the standard exosuit material.
