I think it was suggested before that because she was "Quarian royalty" that she received a nicer suit than everyone else. Or maybe everyone just receives the same suit, but she decided to deck hers out a bit more: add some different fabric and colors to the standard exosuit material.
She probably just found some cool cloth on her pilgrimage and attached it in a way that made her look different. Maybe she cares about the way her suit looks to non-quarians (Shepard???) because she wants people to look past the stigma of the exosuit, whereas most quarians don't care because they spend all their time on the Flotilla with other quarians.
I'd say if anything, it was to differentiate each other on the flotilla... Lacking the ability to see another's face, truly would leave one with the desire to set themselves apart in any way possible.

I don't hate Tali I don't even hate Bioware. I would've just appreciated something concrete from them. Either she's available or she isn't, don't make her give me the green light and then turn around and walk away...Totally not Tali's style. We'll see in ME3 I guess.Jake71887 wrote...

If Tali's not up for something in part 3 she is just a little bit....cold? Unhinged? I'd hate to think that's the case.
The whole "Shepard you are everything I've ever wanted and also let's get nakey together" thing followed by "I really gotta clean this engine sorry lol" really isn't working for me...

Kelly seems like the most logical person.

Speaking of which, I'm trying to multitask getting this huge-ass research paper done, and doing a poor job multitasking. As much as I love talking about Tali and other slightly-off-topic stuff with you guys, I think I'm going to have to leave you guys and focus on this paper, since it's due in several hours.
G'night, Keela Se'lai

Yeah. I was watching my girlfriend play through ME2 with a lady Shepard, and a lot of Tali's lines that I had assumed were potential-romance-only came up anyway. It felt weird, like they had just chopped out a previously planned f/f Shep/Tali romance. It was jarring.

Was playing ME1 today. Keelah Se'lai all!
She got a Geth Colossus Blue LAZ0R in the face, on Insanity Mode, and survived. She's not just a pretty mask!
But I had to recommend how romances go in ME2 over ME1 because in this I was playing a conservative, but friendly, discussion between both Ash and Liara. Liara goes cold if you state early in her discussion you're not interested (logic here is we just met and need to know more) but she never really lets up. It's the discussion where she is "I assume you and Ash have a thing" and go "We're just friends".
Ash is a little trickier. She's pretty set in being with you regardless and it shows, carrying to ME2, Liara is only experiencing Maiden interests whereas Ash truly falls in love with you. It's quite impressive to see how Bioware subtly allow these actions to happen despite if you romanced either since Liara is now a very cold individual whilst Ash is heartbroken.
As said not romancing either. Tali is happy with me of course (gave her the Geth iPod) and so it's all smoothly prepared for a ME2 playthrough! Thought I'd touch base all Tali things.

I'm not really sure I support her being Bi, I'd be cool with her being straight as long as she made an exception for me. I can handle that.
Fight for the Love is talking about some DLC or something, something to extend Tali's truncated romance dialogue with fem shep along with other things, like more same-sex options for ME3. I miss the possibility of hot lesbian sex around every corner, with part 2 the ME universe went down a notch or two in that aspect for sure lol

Tali is actually the only one not really influinced (sp im tired) by what is said in me1 unlike the others. The others you can change their entire outlook on life by telling them "don't do this" "do that" blah blah. you can tell garrus a few things and he is nicer but he can also tell him other things and he is a very dower turian.DreadvasNormandy wrote...

I look forward to it. I played a FemShep through ME1 just to get to that scene XD
... well, and also 'cause I made a hawt FemShep, and because I wanted to hear Hale's take on the part.
But yeah... the lesbian sex was sweet.
