Not that this thread isn't REALLY on topic or anything... I figure I help bring it back... So, I strongly approve of Tali, and I beleve that she should be Mass Effect 2 as both a squadmate and a LI, I hope this helps bring back the spirit of this thread, because this has become a haven for off-topicness (?) I've noticed alot of Folks posting two different versions of the, "Her Face," Art Picture. The Original, and the Photo-shopped version with the Lighter eyes, More Violet hued skin, and the face Tattoo. The only reason this caught my eye is that I was under the impression that general understanding had been reached that Tali's skin tone is NOT Violet, and that the only reason some thought this was the case was due to the fact that they were confusing the color of her Visor with the color of her skin. Given thier lack of exposure to natural Ultraviolet Light or other Natural Light sources it's almost certain that Quarian pigmentation will be very Lightly neautral colored or almost Slate/Gray.

I don't see this lack of pigmentaion as taking from Tali's beauty, I mean, it's obvious Shepard liked what he saw; however, I don't understand why there is this persistant obession with Tali's skin being a Violet Hue. Also, why would she have Face Tattoos if in fact the Quarians spend very little time outside thier EV-Suits? Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining (made a promise to the Thread Powers That Be that I would not anymore) and even though I prefer the Original nothing is wrong with either, however I just find it funny that some Tali-Mancers can not let go of the idea of the aforementioned Violet skin, etc.  

Somewhat agree. Quarians not exposed to regular sunlight. However. Lack
of sunlight will not diminish pigmentation. 300 year exile insufficient
time for evolutionary change. If Quarians originally violet skinned,
will only be paler violet. If Quarians start white/grey, will be paler
shade. Definately agree on face tattoos. Many artists added
jewelry/tatooes to face to add exotic quality. More likely that suit would be customized to show individuality.

Ok,

But why do you feel to need to defend your own opinion every time some one may disagree with your and like a different version this is the 2nd time you done this and all your "turn off" really are already in ME or easily explained.

1. 4 nostrils: Batarans 4 eyes, Asari Squid Hair Both of these are pointless and kind of odd if you look at specially asari squid hair on a pure human like face.

2. The Eyes yes the artist over did this a tad but she not wrong do to the fact Tali eye do glow threw her mask so she based it off of that not such a "no no" really, and Tali eye could actually do that if there like what everyone thinks which is a feline like eye that reflects light when hit.

3. The skin: ... No comment here how can I defend the dislike the color of Dark Blue/Purple thou it be a nice change since most aliens are actually a lighter pigment.

4. The supposed "scars" There facial marking or a facial trait it not bad or not unseen in mass effect. Asari tend to have the squid hair vary person to person with texture and markings, The Turians tend to put markings on there face .Salarians as well if you look at mordin closely they all have this, All be it the artist darkened them to bring them out to much there not a big "mystery" that not been there before. And if there ridges like to make a note Drell have them as well.
