I like Liara regardless, I just prefered her as she was.../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png
Everyone seems to think that this is Liara's new personality. I really don't think this is the case.
Her personality will certainly be affected permanently in
some way, but it seems obvious to me that her colder nature is largely a result of her all-consuming obsession with the Shadow Broker. She does show you just a
little bit of her old self in one of the dialogues. It seems like they are setting up a situation in ME3 where you can either rescue her from obsession or allow her to be consumed by it.
I liked Liara in the first game, but I don't mind her part in ME2. Not because I like her new personality, but because I see where they are taking the relationship between her and Shepard.
