Not really. It means I am friends with everyone. TIM is my buddy and so is Zaeed (let the workers burn). Having enemies goes against the mission.
Fail. If you actually bothered to listen and read the mission objectives for Zaeed's loyalty mission, Shepard and Co. are supposd to liberate the refinery - that's the official mission. Furthermore, if you're Paragon you can still gain Zaeed's loyalty by persuading him that his selfish obsession with revenge endangers the overall mission which takes priority over his personal vendetta.
By mission I mean the main goal which is stopping the Collecters. If a few workers have to be sacrificed to get there then so be it. And I don't metagame.
Which, as has already been pointed out previously, you don't need to do in order to achieve the overall mission. Nor do you need to sacrifice them in order to get Zaeed on board. But it speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. I wouldn't trust you to lead me to lunch.
How do I know without metagaming knowledge whether I will need Zaeed's loyalty or not? As my Shep sees it 1 more loyal squadmate is a good thing. And I already said many times without metagaming you can't be sure Zaeed will remain loyal if you help the workers. Also had Vido escaped it is well within his power to kill more innocents than those that died at the refinary. For what you think of me I don't much care.

KFD, if it changes your mind, i sided with Zaeed. This man could not be allowed the live. The horrible acts in the past, all santioned by a Vido Santiago, a worthless shell of a human being who throws as much money and men at a problem until its dead. Akin to TIM really, and i Do Not Like That Kind Of Person.
Burn you son of a b*tch...
Not one iota (in regards to whether it changes my mind). I've discussed it with others before and there are so many unknown variables that the "what if" situations get out of hand. The Blue Suns are co-chaired by Vido and a Batarian who isn't known for his mercy. Furthermore the Blue Suns have been transformed in to an organization with a certain blood thirsty reputation. The removal of Vido would be highly unlikely to stop this. Any lives you may or may not save by killind Vido are not guaranteed, whereas you can clearly see the immediate results of saving (or failing to do so) the lives of the refinery workers.
I'm willing to accept the sacrifice of the colonists on Watson because the strategic infrastructure is left intact and will allow humanity to re-populate the colony quickly while maintaining it's strategic presence on one of Alliance space's frontiers. There's a tangible and immediate result (and consequence in the form of hundreds, if not thousands, of lost colonists). Yet this decision is not based upon blind vengeance nor "what if" scenarios.

I didn't have metagaming knowledge either when I did it the first time. However, if I can't count on Zaeed putting his personal feelings aside and be sure that he won't let it get in the way of mission objectives and direct orders then I don't want him along on a far more important mission. Cowboy behaviour like that is most definitely not how a military operation works. You'd know that if you have ever served.
