Guys, what would you do in this scenario:

In Mass Effect 3, the Illusive man informs you that Cerberus has cross engineered a "cure" for the Quarians using data from the Lazarus Project.

This new treatment will stimulate Quarian immune systems to grow spontaneously to fully-protective states in just a matter of weeks.  Tali would finally be able to show you her face without risk of getting sick or dying.  Not to mention you'd be helping the entire Quarian race.

The catch: the Illusive Man thinks it's time for Cerberus to subvert the Council and for humans to become the supreme rulers of the universe, with him at the head.  He will not give you this "cure" until you help place him into power.

So what do you choose?  Do you put the fate of the galaxy in the hands of Cerberus so Tali is can live a life free of worry and have a normal relationship with Shepard? Or is the Galaxy too important to give up, even for Tali?

Whatever TIM wants, I shall do

So you'd do it for the Illusive Man even more than for Tali?

As long as it benefits Tali as well, don't see why not. ^_^

And you think Tali would be okay with you helping Cerberus gain control of the entire galaxy? Image IPB

haha, interesting senario. New plan, trick TIM, take the cure, become the new leader.

His plan is infallible.  There is no possible way of getting the cure without giving him absolute power.  Many people, particularly non-humans, will suffer (except for the Quarians, of course)

TRY THE NEW CERBURES COFFIN EVEN COMMANDER SHEPARD USES THEM!

What was she going to do, come back from the grave and scrape the icon off?

Man some of the fans take this stuff to level that not even warranted. Obsessing over the idea of video game character having off spring and trying to prove it with facts in a fictional world.. This is a key sign to take a step back and get some grips on reality back.

Alert: We detect a troll.

I like tali but there are time people take things to far, when your obsessed over the idea of a game character having hybrid children with the main character you may want to take a step back, there loving a character then there obsessing over it.

We have over 2000 pages of Tali conversations.  It is inevitable that new and interesting ideas pop up.  We've already talked about the stuff that I suppose someone like you would consider sane and normal.  So in light of that we come up with new topics that peak our interest and cause us to actually *gasp* think.  I for one very much enjoy our "weird" conversations because it forces people to think in a way that they would not have otherwise.  And besides, this is a video game community, the whole purpose of these games is to give us an escape from reality and immerse ourselves in a new and exciting world.  Reality has no place here.

I think Tali, hell, ALL quarians would be pissed at me if I put Cerberus in charge of the galaxy.  Even if it gave them the ability to live outside of their envirosuits.

I can see it now.
As soon as Tali takes off her mask, she smiles then proceeds to punch Shepard in the face for handing the Galaxy to Cerberus.

Though she wants to be free of the suit herself, she mostly wants you to do it because it will benefit her people.  However, she is also conflicted over whether this is right or wrong, so the choice is completely up to SHepard.

The Illusive Man has it planned out perfectly this time; there is no way Shepard can get the cure without him first gaining power.  If he suspects betrayal at all, he can press a button that remotely destroys all vital lab samples in the Cerberus base they're held on.

Shepard has to choose one or the other: Help him and therefore Tali, or help the galaxy.
