Alright, Alright. I'll try to keep it simple. Think about this, really think about the genetic engineering. Look at the
different things presented in the ME universe, both declared and subtle. Follow the path to its logical
conclusion.
If all you're saying is that we could somehow use genetic engineering to create hybrid offspring then i'm done with this conversation.
Giving up?
Yes, if that is all you're saying. It has been discussed a dozen times now and always has come out in favour of it not being possible. Now if you have something more in depth than "Genetic engineering makes it possible" then I will discuss further.
If one's mind is closed, ignorance is all that he has.
"Keep your mind open, but not so open that your brain falls out."
Basically, he is saying that the method you seem to be hinting at (because you haven't explicitly stated it -- perhaps because you have no idea what you're talking about either), simply is not viable. It isn't close-minded or ignorant, it only seems that way to you because you don't fully understand the implications of your suggestions.
If you think that isn't true,
spell out your theory. Don't try leading people with vageries, it only makes it seem more like you don't know how your own idea works.
