I can't get this out of my head. Grunt says that the Quarians aren't as squishy as other species. WHAT DOES HE KNOW WE DON'T!? I mean come on he was bloody born yesterday (literally) and yet he know more then us about the girl we love! What are they armor platted or something?

I think the two most logical conclusions are:

1. He's taking suits into consideration. Suits are essentially a part of a every quarian's physiology. You will never encounter a Quarian in a combat situation (which is what he's talking about) that's not in a suit.

2. Quarians have extra strong bones. This is supported because he brings up how easy it is to sever a human's spine, which is what leads to him mentioning so many races as being "soft"

It's also worth noting, that when he says Quarians aren't as "soft" as other races, that he's not talking about their skin. In the context of this conversation, to him soft = how easily killed, not how they physically feel.

Very good point but Reegers suit was punched through by a bullet. Then you talk to him about a full scale war and he says that they would get slaughtered. Not just the supplies but also their suits to begin with. The strong bones is a very good idea however, and I didn't consider it but I can't help but feel there is more to it.

Yeah but I don't think Grunt would discredit other races simply because a bullet can hurt them. Even Krogans suffer injury from bullets without some kind of body armor. They just have backup body systems to help them cope with the damage.

It's an order, you must arrange it to be 3 2 1. The first block was part 3, second block was 1, third block was 2.

Err, 1 2 3 not 3 2 1.

Which would make it odder. A knife and or sword would cut through their suits easily, It is mostly a fabric/kevlar type material. It is "snug in all the right places" as joker put it. I still think there is somthing going on under those suits we don't know of yet :bandit: or maybe I'm just paranoid and taking grunt out of context.

Just wanted to get in on the thread and express my support for Tali as a squadmate/LI in ME3. Has been my favorite character in the series since she was first introduced in ME1.

I think the torso area (the back mainly) is made out of some sold parts, since that's where the suit's "life support" systems would be.

I for one would like to see Tali in a hoody that has " Dem' hips are killer!" on the back of it.

I would be nice to see her hip-tackle some one as she charges into melee.

You don't think quarian suits would be very puncture/cut resistant?  I mean, under the wrong circumstances, a little tear could be fatal.

Yeah that's a good point. I can imagine their suits are fairly durable. Probably made out of something similar to kevlar to help resist damage.
