This is off-topic (sorry), but my little post is getting no attention in the tech support forum. My question is thus:

I used to have a fully functional key-binding written into the .ini for taking screen shots (F12, if that matters). Now that I have patched and put my custom bindings back into the .ini, the screen shots only seem to work during gameplay -- I can no longer take them during cutscenes and conversations. Is this something new in 1.01? Is this no longer possible, or do I simply need to put the binding in a different section of the .ini (I have tried both [Engine.Console] and [SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault])? Or is there something else I need to do...?

Grunt says Humans, Asari and Salarians are soft, but Quarians not so much, meaning they have tougher skin, but not as hard as Turians, cause with Turians you need to "work the blade,".

The ME Codex's say they're dextro-DNA (like Turians,).

Legion says the Quarian homeworld's sun is older and more orange than Sol (our sun,). Also meaning it radiates more heat and radiation. Turians got the plates cause they're sun also excerted unusual ammounts of radiation.

So, skin-wise, they are tougher than humans, but not as tough as Turian plates. The picture doesn't say they will actually look like it, just skin-wise it's the best possibility.

Someone went over the possible meanings of what Grunt said a little earlier in the thread, but basically your way of interpreting it isn't the only way.  Personally, I think he's referring to the suit, it's war data implanted by Okeer, and knowledge of how hard it is to stab through a quarian's spine without a suit is irrelevant.  He's definitely not referring to how tough the skin is, simply how hard it is to sever to the spine, so bone density would be a lot bigger factor than skin. 

I don't think there is actually any evidence in the game or the books that suggests quarians having anything other than similar skin to humans is there?

Having the same amino acid chirality as turians won't affect how quarians look at all either.  Keep in mind that there are only 2 possible choices for all forms.  Humans, volus and hanar are all Levo (sp) chirality, and are nothing alike.
