Nope.

Yeah that's about it. Think we're fishing for a Tali inspired conversation..... Which I might just think up.

You think there will be a kidnapping scene for the love interest, like in baldur's gate?

I'd say no, that's almost too trite for a scifi game as there's just so much... Space? Managing to successfully grab one specific person that's zipping across the galaxy on any number of planets is one hell of a breach of belief.

Then again we have the Illusive man who probably still has tracking devices on the Normandy and near infinite resources when he pools all his projects. Illusive man though has shown that as petty as he may be, he knows Shepard is the key to the war against the reapers. At least the key for humans to remain on the same level as their galactic cousins.

So... End result I'd say it's a "Definite Maybe". :D

Well at least tali won't be turn into a vampire so...
But what if the reapers turn her into a collector?

Then there'll be hell to pay.

whats wrong with being a collector?

Short answer?: "EVERYTHING DIES".

Long answer: It's an interesting idea. Supposedly Quarians (Tali at least) have partial cybernetics. I could see it happening after we finally get the big reveal about why the reapers do their whole "reaping" thing.

They indoctrinate subjects and harvest resources for a reason after all, we just don't know why. Should it come to a head that they need a plucky techy and Tali just so happens to fall into their hands? Yes I could see it happening, along with half my team cause that's twice we've given the reapers a boot to the quad.

I could see one of the darker endings having most of your team indoctrinated. You've walked through several regions under heavy reaper influence (Virmire and the dead reaper) so there is an inkling of it happening.

Perhaps a bonus/secret ending. Using Garrus + Tali for Virmire and then the dead reaper can unlock the indoctrinated ending. Maybe the Omega-4 Relay jump was all in their minds and they're running through the ship blasting friendlies?!:?

Three options that matter :

1)Tali, you should not make the sacrifice, I'll take the procedure, I and our child will be Quarian, only now, we'll have a world we can call our own.

2) No, its too risky for the both of us, we'll work something out, adopt perhaps.

3) Hell no. I am staying human. Take the procedure Tali, you know you want to.

Yes... Yes it would. That part always has to be awkward for Garrus and Tali on Shepard's ships.

On the other hand after reading the codex on liveships(terrible name by the way) Tali's probably eating better than the majority of her people.

Instead of cooking a 5 course meal all designed for you
You cook a 4 course meal with 2 things for each of you.

Not as complete, but I doubt it'd be THAT much harder

Plus there are probably foods both can eat that taste good even if they have no nutriental value, and be safe.

There are also even some foods they can eat safely, like most forms of candy.

That is why I think that the only way for both of them to be together in the long term, is to eventually find a way for one or the other to be "compatible" with the other. Full DNA rewrite so to speak. Essentially one either becomes fully Quarian or Human to be with the other.
And no, I am not talking hybrid.
Can it be done? Who knows, but being science fiction, I am sure there's a way yes?

Why? It's not like food is a huge part of ones life. Plus restaurants are used to serving Turians along with Asari, so it's not like night out on the towns will be problematic.

The only real long term friction I forsee is Children.
There is always adoption for that too.

I know Shepard hasn't.

He's still cooking completely different things, one of which he won't even be able to know when it's ready without Tali's opinion. Then it needs to be sterilized and possibly ground up to be tube fed to her. It would be an awkward stage of their relationship until some time as passed and they get used to it.

If shepard is willing to suffer it, it'd work no problem.

Quarians already deal with such barriers as part of their everyday life, along with their relationships with their families.

So if Shepard is willing to abide by it, then it seems pretty natural that Tali wouldn't decide to just rock the boat about something she has to live with regardless if it's with Shepard or not.

I have to agree on the children part. Shepard may or may not want children but I know it's on Tali's mind. She did mention that she couldn't provide "certain things" if they were in a relationship. This probably would eat up at Tali unfortunately.

It is part of a Quarians duty to populate the fleet responsibly. She has always thought of the fleet before her own needs so what happens then? :?
