Interesting question the one mentioned with saving colonies.
What if you had to choose between saving a colony of the humans or the one of quarians (if they had built one).
Remind that you aren't a quarian yourself and even if you did save the quarian colony, there is no guarentee that you could live among them. The danger you bring to the fleet beeing human etc.
If you did so you also humanity would feel betrayed 'cause you choose another race over your own. So you could hardly go back there and beg for understanding where there is not neccesary any.
Other way round, saving the human colony and letting down the quarian one, what about Tali. What would she think. What about the other quarians. Seeing you beeing in a relationship with one of them, having serious plans and then such an action. Maybe Tali would get involved in that aswell, just like we saw in her trial about the geth parts. Also, Tali is loyal to her fleet and would do anything for her people.
So, what to do, difficult imo. Especially when loving an individual like Tali where rational thinking is as hard as it could be.
