What if, at the end of ME3, you had to choose between your LI and the victory against the reapers ?

That would be a stupid choice. If you don't beat the Reapers, everyone dies, including you LIImage IPB

In fact, it was not a question, i expressed myself bad: what would you think if Tali dies at the end of the game just before the victory ?

EVERYTHING DIES.

Yes that is my final answer.

Oh yes, and this.

I think that if space monkeys are the only way to make the universe happy and peaceful the universe is missing something..... maybe waist coats.... or waffles and certainly Tali if she was killed.

Dear Scalpels,

You are a cuddly Salarian. Do you know what happened to Mordin's other horn? My mum says that he used to go to important places because important Salarians said he had to do it for all the other Salarians.

Why do you talk funny? I would ask my dad, but he died fighting the Reapers.

Lots of love,

Annika Terrorfex-Gervais.

Thank you. Enjoy adjective "cuddly." Loss of Mordin's "horn" is classified. Means even he won't tell me. Talk funny because efficient. Can slow down and talk normally. However. So much to do! Hard to spend time talking.

In hindsight punching that Pyjak on Tuchanka might come back to haunt me.

Perhaps, but it's not the one I've fought and earned across 3 games. Shepard has done the impossible repeated. He popped Saren in the face, wiped out hundreds of geth, died! Came back! Romanced an alien. Recruited for a suicide mission and proved everyone wrong.

This man makes a career out of the impossible. What's one more impossible feat?

Right, the only one you can trust is yourself, but even you make weird decision from time to time not beeing capable to judge situations the right way because you never faced equal ones before. So then you can't even trust yourself, so what's left?

There is actually an additional scenario where Tali could die in ME3, according the war against the geth. If you don't try to find a peaceful solution and the quarians are shipping for war, Tali included, and you can't be on her side to watch over her it's unsure what will happen to her... trying to find a peaceful solution on the other hand side where there is no guarantee that there even is one and so letting the chance go getting the quarians a homeworld just to protect Tali - keep in mind that's what she really wishes, having a planet she can call home

I agree, here.  Asking questions like "What if Tali dies?", or "Tali or the whole galaxy zomg!?" is really just an exercise in trying to come up with questions that have no right answers.  Typically people feel cheated by scenarios like this.  IMO, any choice that comes down to Tali's death will be one that naturally evolves from the plot -- from choices that YOU made -- like the Quarian-Geth war.  Creating a random, unavoidable scenario where you have to choose between the character you have emotionally invested in the most and some other impossibly dire consequence is not a good way to get an emotional reaction other than anger.

If you are going to do it in ME logic then, you will likely see the option of peace with both sharing the homeworld, and the the screw the other one over option for those that don't care. I think we will likely see this idea picked up in ME3 (99% sure)

I don't like very much happy endings. If Shepard can really do the impossible, so he defeats the Reapers, made all alien races coming friend and the ending is just hmm... well everyone is happy and there is no problem. That's of course the ending i want if I was really Shepard but here it is a story. And a sad ending would stuck you on your chair, make you cry and say that even if it is so sad, it is one of the most beautiful ending you saw.

If Tali lives (and preferably Shepard I guess...) I really wouldn't care who else in the squad dies.
On that happy note, I must leave and I will return in exactly 1 hour.

Not all races happy. Rachni would be subject to greater mistrust than Quarians. Batarians would still raid/slave. Krogan would continue to make war. Other races would resent humans for gaining great power in little time. Terminus systems would still opposed Citadel. "Happy" ending only temporary reprieve.

In my first play of ME2, i lost Garrus, Legion and Thane (my favourites except Tali) and I didn't feel sad because I knew i could load my saves, make other choices and save them. Emotionnaly, it is not very good.

You may not like happy endings but there's nothing that says we both won't get what we want in the third game. It's been set up to cater to just about any possible combination of endings.

A pure paragon will have fleets and hordes of aliens setting aside differences to overcome the impossible.

A pure renegade raises humanity's standing and power to well beyond what other races can match, scattering rival powers and hording technology for every single edge they can get.

Then there's all the middle of the road play through which covers any number of wishy-washy decisions that may very well cost you dearly at the critical moment.
