Same reason why shouting random numbers when people are doing math is disrupting haha.

Indeed, I've done that multiple times. Television also toys with the inspiration I have. If I'm in an emotional mood while Saving Private Ryan is on TV, I'm probably not going to write about angels and doves as well as I normally would.

Pay attention to the shooting and it becomes a good movie, the plot goes out the window in the first 10 minutes of action

In any case it's good to be here for Keep Tali Alive 3 / Quarian even harder 6 / Tali Love 50 or whatever it is.

A Bit late, sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree with that assesment. Yes, it was something her Father promised her, but where-as her Father promised her a Home out of Familial Love, Shepard building Tali a home would be a gesture of Love of a different Kind. In Human society, since time immemorial, it was seen as the Role of the Husband to provide Shelter and Safety for the one he Loved. Often, that would mean a home to call thier own. Now, obviously, Quarians are not Human, but I can still imagine that many of thier own traditions would be similar, especially given thier close ties to Family, etc. As such, Shepard Building Tali a home would be a way of showing the woman he Loves that he has promised to give her a place to feel Loved and Protected and content, and he has done it with his own hands. I see no issue with that, nor do I see it as something weird like Shepard trying to take Rael's place.

The giving away the daughters is an ancient tradition that simply occurs now out of a sense of history and doesn't have the same meaning now. Tali also is from a different culture then ours, never mind that not even all religions have their fathers give away their daughters among our own species.

I am also a fan of equality among partners. I don't want to just protect my significant other. I want to share the burdens of life. I find it insulting to your partner that it's on you to provide and protect her.

That's really good, and believable. 

Agreed. Short hair. Silver tint to eyes. Helmet opens in interesting way. Discrepancies in image concerning body. However.. Still good speculation.
