I still maintain that phrase "what passes for the quarian version of the ear" warrants a structural equivalent rather than simple ear hole.
Come on, Tali with no ears?

And quarians are known to produce and appreciate music. That would seem to imply greater role of auditory sense in quarian society, hence external auditory organs to ensure optimum performance of the sense seem logical. 

No ears isnt the same as no auditory sensory organs/structures. Also the theory on the pale skin is based on thier isolation of from the sun on thier ships, and in thier suits, and the fact that thier archetecture appears partially subterrainiun.

Somewhat incorrect. Pale skin based on tint change from visor. 300
years (3 generations) insufficient time for evolutionary change.

Reduction in pigment present in all earth-born species. Harder to demonstrate as most species covered with hair, scales, etc. Is theory. Not fact. Difference: Theory is malleable.

true, but evelutionary logic would suggest that they would. Those who don't waste energy on pigmentation to protect from a non present sun will logically do better than those that do and thus populate more and spread thier paleness around. On the other hand Andvanced society does have a tendency to disrupt natural evolutionary processes for artificial ones such as sexual selection. But then seeing as they cant see each other in those suits either that doesnt really apply in the situation.
