No ears isnt the same as no auditory sensory organs/structures. Also the theory on the pale skin is based on thier isolation of from the sun on thier ships, and in thier suits, and the fact that thier archetecture appears partially subterrainiun.

Paleness do to absence of contact with solar radiation not suggested as evolutionary, more like tanning (or lack there of). But the Archetecture would suggest some evolutionary predolection towards pale skin. But as always that just a hypothesis.
