How about mode-switching? One part of the game you are recruiting forces for your cause (and romance Tali of course!) and the other part you are kicking reaper-indoctrinated-species-@ss in an RTS.........and then you go over to the Citadel and punch the Turian councillor in the face, throw the Asari councillor to the Quarians for vengeance (come on she was probably one of those who threw them off the citadel), the Salarian councillor is probably allready in retirement and Anderson gets a promosion to top-honcho of the Citadel. Then you romance Tali some more, kick reaper butt and then continue on to build a house for her on the Quarian homeworld.....

u still had to att base in lord of the rings

yes but it was not done in the same way as halo wars

in halo wars  all every one does is run around your army and go and kill your base just so they can wait the 30sec tell you lose

lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2 was and still is the best rts for the consol

This, oh god this.  I would probably trade Homeworld 3 for something like this.  No, wait, not Homeworld 3.  But maybe a couple of toes or something?
