Tali, unendingly, unquestionably, ftw. Chikktika is warranted an extra mention aswell I dare claim. Insane difficulty would be so much harder for me without the little bugger. Practically a 4th Squad member the way it draws fire.

I still hate that trailer.

Really? In my humble opinion it was great.
Besides, wouldn't you see such a trailer for a movie where the main character leaps to save his loved one?
Now if it was Shepard jumping to save Grunt... then it'd be bad.  (and it's so comical when you see him pulling him up in-game, Shep must be taking a lot of steroids)

If you saw the trailer before the game, you don't know what could happen. She could've died.
But now we know that its a scripted event and you always save her.

As for still hating it, it almost gave me a heart attack man!

sick in the good way? it's tali butchering husks. whats not to like. heck, saren's even there. saren improves everything.

althoguh physiologically, tali's hands would have to absurdly strong to duel wield pistols, given that she only has three fingers. so thats a little impractical.

where'd this picture come from? and is it a screenshot? or what? it's pretty crazy.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed that Shepard didn't actually yell "TALI!" in the game. It's simple but it means a lot, just like when Garrus get's blown up and Shepard's like "Garrus", just the way he said it made me feel Shepard had strong feelings for Garrus. Oh well, the Tali hug and pounce were good enough 

Congrats on l337ness, all, I'm loving the Tali Last Stand picture, makes her resemble Jill Valentine a little "fightin off the hordes". I want a picture of Tali and Shepard touching foreheads cuz I imagine since they can't just makeout whenever they want like other people's relationships, they would "eskimo kiss" or touch foreheads to display affection (much the same way I'd like to headbutt Garrus before major missions just to get pumped up

Though to be honest, Duke's pose is a parody of Doom.

Like I said, I didn't get ME2 straight away (last days of military service fortunately), so I didn't know she would always be saved either, but it was tense.

Like I said, when you see a movie's trailer, you don't know how it'll end.

I'm just lucky it was her that fell instead of Jacob. Saving him would of been...anti climatic.

Yeah, I also was spoiled about a Talimance, but it was my fault. I went to look it up.
I din't mind thou  , large parts of the game were still un-spoiled.

I envy your innocence.

On the current topic, was actually totally unaware that Tali was romanceable until I was actually playing the game and the conversation options appeared, due in part to me intentionally avoiding trailers/bogs to evade spoilers. I figured it'd be like Samara (not that I was aware of her 'romance option' at the time either) where you'd be politely declined. Very glad it turned out the way it did. Emotional, tasteful and came together as a satisfying subplot. Felt it had more depth than the romance options in ME1.

Yup. My first playthrough I saved Tali from The Fall, and then she was the one that pulled me up into the Normandy after The Leap. My brother dove after Mordin lol so yeah I feel lucky that my first playthrough is that special

I don't remember much about doom but I remember I liked more Quake for some reason.
