Indeed. Though I'm actually very glad they didn't make her romanceable in the first game- the devs probably would have felt the need to keep her out of the suicide mission like they did with the other love interests from the first game... so as it is now, we've got two games worth of Tali goodness, and even better things to come in the third game I'm thinking (particularly given the awe-inspiring support for her character as seen in places such as this thread).:D

Hey fellas, how's that Tali love going?

I've been busy this last few days. Surviving an earthquake here in Chile and all that stuff...

Speaking of the falling characters, does it have to do with whom you choose as first teammate and second?

Sometimes Garrus falls, other times it's Tali.
And I'm certain that whoever climbs on the platform second (which also seemed a bit random at times?) when you make your last party selection is the one who falls.

Edit:

That is a great point. She'd been reduced to a mere Camo if she was a LI in ME1 (just like you said).

And because she loved you for all those years, but was afraid you din't because of her mask, makes her romance even more.... it just makes it even better!

Wouldn't have made much sense to me if she was romanceable in the first game, she came across as a bit of a 'child' in terms of her inexperience with the outside world, so it would seem a bit creepy to me. Makes even more sense that it occurs in ME2 as, ofc, it allows for more character development. Considering that she mentions falling for Shepard in the first game and Kelly's comments on her body language, it just seems more/most believeable of the Male Shep romances.

I still wish they had more hints in ME 1 for what was to come in ME 2 with tali....It would make it more enjoyable to to stay faithful to Tali if they made it more apparent in ME 1 that she was falling for you.  That being said I know they didn't intend that in ME 1, so I understand they situation.

I agree, I find it better that tali is romance by a male shepard.
Why do I feel like someone is going to scream "MALE SHEP X TALI FTW !!!"

Thanks for your concern, I was lucky that both my house and my family are Ok, we just had to live without electricity for a few a days. The southern cities got the worst of it, looks like Fallout 3 out there . But the worst has passed, and help is arriving, it's a matter of rebuilding now.
And Tali love helped a bit ^_^

Remember, it LOOKS like Fallout 3, but you must resist the urge to coat yourself in tinfoil, declare yourself a Paladin and go around clubbing Mole Rats to death or we're all going to be very.... concerned.

Hints R.E. Tali's continued involvement in ME1? I agree, now that you mention it. If we were told that only 2 ME1 characters would be squadmembers in the sequel, Tali would not have been a first guess for me. She was a great character, but it seemed like she'd leave to join the Migrant Fleet permanently after it was done and only recieve passing mentions.

Anyhoo, I hear ME2's Insane Difficulty calling to me. I'll keep on posting I reckon, but for now, time for the N7 missions and Loyalties (NOT looking forward to further YMIR battles)

Considering she's wasn't interested in a female Shepard in ME2, she'll prolly not change her mind for ME3.

Sorry, Xena.

Sorry, Xena.

I don't want tali to romance a female shepard.
Something is wrong with that.
It would be like...well alistair romancing a male character and I don't like the idea.
But then again that is my opinion.

It came from deviant art. Though I don't remember the name of the artist.

The name of the file is "Tali__s_Last_Stand_by_Urbanator.jpg".  It can indeed be found on urbanator.deviantart.com.
