That makes me shudder. "Appearances can be deceiving" i.e. Liara from ME2. I also want to know, with the whole Quarian Geth war being important, what will they do for those that import a dead Tali? *shudders again*

Yeah, I really loved how they filled out both characters in ME2.  I always have Garrus at long range and Tali on the street howitzer.  Good times.  I'm not sure what it would be like without them in my squad.
