I wouldn't call the feeling I have for those characters as "hate".

I don't see them as "bad", more like "misguided"(Ash), "wrong"(Miranda and Jacob) and "having issues with their childhood"(Kaiden).

I'm not hating them, I'm actually hating the fact that I can't help/change them

Miranda resigning from Cerberus certainly redeemed her for me. As for Ash, we'll see in ME3 I suppose.

I did not dislike any of the squadmates, the closest I got was Zaeed, though he is a walking reference for Firefly and I could never hate Firefly. I had this whole "You're part of my crew." thing running.
