Sorry Glen, but she is insulting your actions that cost the lives of tens of thousands. she not only insults you, she insulted the human race, the turian people, our asari allies, and the venerable volus in their actions to defend a galaxy. Moose, you're entitled to your opinion. So, I'm not going to tell you how disturbing it is to acutally think punching a Woman over an insult is justified. However, I will say there are many other options to going against everything that it means to be a decent Man. Remember, you are Commander Shepard, the Human who saved the Citidel, and many other thousands of lives. If Shepard wanted, it would be an easy thing to do an interview with Emily Wong, decrying the actions of Jincina Bin Al'Jalani and her stance about the lives lost in the battle for the citidel. Her Rep would be destroyed and no one would touch her with a ten foot pole. That is far more fitting than, as you put, a "Falcon Punch."
Your getting into the dangerous territory of confusing video game situations with real life. Would you be justified to hit her IRL in Shepard's position? Absolutely not, no one is suggesting that. But this is a game. You could just as easily shoot her and keep going, just like you can randomly shoot a lot of other NPCs. It's a made up universe, you can't apply civilizations rules to it.

I don't want this to keep going forever, Phil, so I will just say that if you read my FULL post, not just the section Moose quoted, I cover that. However, Video game or not, unless you're a Female Gamer playing a Female character Punching a woman in a game and thinking it's funny is just not cool to me. It's like the folks who play GTA and think it's hilarious to kill the Prostitutes. There is SO much more to that game than killing street walkers, yet THAT is one of the things they enjoy. Yikes. I love games, but even I would feel a bit tainted if I killed a Female character or even just Punched her for Poops and Giggles. Well, 'nuf said.

CSEC grunt : "Hey! That's extortion I am gonna run you in....
Shepard : "Go ahead, heres my ID"
CSEC grunt: "Commander Shepard? THE Commander Shepard the spectre?!"
Volus: *looks at the CSEC grunt* "Is this bad?"
Shepard: "You bet your sorry arses. Right now, I need the Quanrian's fleet co-operation more then I need either of you alive."
Volus : "You can't threaten me...you can't...
Shepard : ready weapon and flips safety off* Want to bet you life on that?
CSEC grunt : Crap! He's a spectre, he can do anything if it means mission success....
Shepard : Lia'Vael, you did say you wanted a that nice transport right?

The shepard VI was created by Mouse in Thane's loyalty mission. You can get a copy of it though I don't know how to make it work.
From what I know, it doesn't work. I was looking all over the Normandy, never found that awesome Shepard VI. I hope they'll add it with DLC or something, would be very hilarious.

Sorry, but, unless you're a Female Gamer playing Female Shep, there is no excuse, nor is it funny, to Punch the Reporter from ME1. Did she run a smear campaign on you? Yeah. Was it an **** thing to do? Yes. Does any of that condone a Guy puching a woman in the Face? Hell no. Unless a woman has a Gun pointed at you, or is coming at you with a Knife, there is NO frakking excuse to hit a Female. And yeah, I know this is a game, and I do love Mass Effect and our Tali-Zorah; but people who think it's ok to smack or punch a woman and laugh is all too likely to think it's ok in real Life. Like those pieces of Human Garbage on the Jersey Shore MTV series. Don't get me wrong, there are some great Renegade moments in the game. That isn't one of them.

They had to think quickly of a way to answer the question without upsetting Rael nor breaking his innocence yet. And hope that Tali wouldn't hear any of it.
Mordin was the first to speak.
"What he means to say is... Well... your uncle Grunt was raised because of the WAR."
Garrus continued the little lie.
"Yeah. Like your father - he became the hero of the galaxie because of the war against the reapers."
"He has grown mature because of it." said Mordin.
Grunt was confused "What the hell are you talking about? I mea..."
"Shut up !" Said Garrus in a slow treating voice.
Rael looked at his three “uncles,” a bit confused.
"So... Daddy became a man... because of a whor*?"
"YES ! Clever boy." Garrus grinned, patting the head of the young boy.
And his worst mistake would have been to think that he said “war” instead of “whor*.”
But I think it would be impossible for Shep and Tali to have a child.

Oh please! Go tali about your blabla woman hitting on Opra or Dr.Phil! This forum is a LOVING place! I learned that if something is very stressfull, frightening, or bad, just say "Talitalitalitalitalitali" about 10 times. it works <3
