I'd suggest reading NuclearBuddha's blog.  Particularly "Loss", which is Nuclear's version of how Tali escaped the first Normandy's destruction.

Yeaah I imagine the massive amount of Tali FF + the possibility of text walls + my ADD makes me fear getting into it. Especially since I'm not done destroying my social life with constant ME2 playthroughs  Or maybe it's Tali. I'll definitely visit that blog TIM and you better not ease up on the flow of targets for me to hit.
