In ME it says they use translators. So everyone mostly speaks thier own language. Otherwise I'm sure that the galactic community would come up with some sort of galactic basic language to facilitate trade.

As for earth my bets are on everyone speaking mandrin or japanese in the future.

Damn, I wish I wasn't posting this so damn late (well, late SoCal time) but I wanted to throw this out before I call it for the night. Ok, you know how a few years ago Machinima was a Big thing? I mean, you couldn't toss a softball on the Net without hitting a Machinima website or Series. Ok, well, alot of people have been showing what they can do with the Data from ME2's PC version despite the fact that it was not meant to be Mod-a-ble, so what if someone started using those Techniques to do some ME Machinima? Would you guys watch it? I mean, I would if it had nothing to do with Shepard since I don't trust anyone with the Shep/Tali story. But, like, what if it was akin to Mass Effect: Galaxy. Set in the ME Universe, just with a new character. With the regular Character creator, it wouldn't be hard to come up with a new Hero. And Voice recording has become so easy to do well that I think it could work. What do you folks think? Good idea? Meh Idea?

I was playing the game today on Insanity difficulty setting, and the final fight on Haestrom was just so difficult. I was killed by that damned Collossus several times, a few times from stray Geth troopers and the sunlight did not help. I had Garrus with me (just like old times) and Grunt, but it was still a pain.
"You're going to have to earn her." is what my friend said while he was watching.
And I did.

personally id love having the default shepard in the custom shepard menu so i can edit him..his face got the right shapes but i dont like the hair or beard and when i use the presets one my shepard always turn horrible

not too many games can get me inpatient like this , i have already played it three times over to get things just right , and now here i sit , waiting on me3 even though me2 JUST came out lawl , and yes , i redid the game a couple times because i missed something to do with tali , i was going to say more but my mind went blank , i think it was soemthing about the dlc that is coming out , but ugh.

Wait for the Collector ship, with the scion that floats in the background and 1 shots both you squadies at once while your stuck on a 4 foot platform w/ no where to dodge while trying to deal w/ Harbringer at the same time. That was brutal.

Whats very bad is i cant play renegade...no female shepard (god i hate that voice!!) so my playthrough are pretty much all the same..tho i did romance Miranda once just to break the habit a lil

I'm on something like my 9th character. Only 5 full playthroughs currently. This game is amazing but man does it ever leave a void once you finish it. Nothing satisfies.

On the bright side I saved up all the N7 missions for after the suicide mission. Treated them like a honeymoon for me and Tali, Legion being the plunky comic relief, just to squeeze out a little bit more time with her before reseting and having to recollect her again .

Mass Effect 3 ain't coming out fast enough.

I'm fairly certain that it would have been simply someone's guess at Quarians/Tali; I don't know that Bioware has ever released any of their concept drawings of Quarians unsuited, although they have said that they know what they look like underneath there.

I actually kinda hope that they are at least fairly alien.  Not that I wouldn't like it if Tali were a gorgeous looking girl, but I feel like something very unique and striking is warranted after all the wondering and speculation, even if it is not something that is immediately beautiful on first inspection.

Whatever, though, I'll like her whatever she looks like :-)

Don't remember... I knew I stopped at pages 80ish before I left for work. So came home and picked up where I left off.
I do read *everything* even if I don't respond to them all.

I'm with you on the alien aspect.  Something overly human wouldn't be... disappointing, but I'd want more creativity.

Soldier is a solide choice if you know what your doing
some class are really gimped on Insanity tho

I played as a vanguard, but the lack of long range options and the fact that charge isnt alway available (ie if enemies are on ledges or other places that are not pathable such as the collector ship situation) did make some situation more difficult. Still charge was alota fun. I might choose a soldier or and infiltrator for better ranged options or the sentinel for the extra servivablitly.

Infiltraitor is easiest(due to how abuseable cloak is for certain encounters)
SOldier is next (due to how broken good Adrenaline rush is)
Sent is next on the list due to a good balance of defense removal powers
Engine is next, same reason
Adept you just warp spam
and vanguard you get raped for a loooong time, then you finally can start charging again in some encounters.
