I approve of this topic. Besides Asari, it seems there are a lot of 3 fingered aliens, so after 150 hours of ME2 I feel like humans have too MANY digits. In reality it's obvious I've just been playing too much Mass Effect 

Quarians and turians have them, I think salarians have only 3 fingers too.  I can't remember with Krogan.  Wonder if there is some genetic link to be revealed in ME 3?  Reapers seeded each of these species on different worlds to harvest them later on???

So there are three reasons why these very different races could share the same hand and foot structure:

1.  Evolutionarily, this is a very good design.  They each developed it independently by mutation and it worked very well for survival.

2.  They all come from a similar genetic background.  Of course, there are differences in DNA structure, but if the Reapers could re-engineer the Protheans and the Keepers, maybe they had a hand in the birth of these racs.

3.  Easier for the devs to think up, animate, or use the same frames and textures.

haha. I'm well aware of that. I was just going by the girls that I've met that sound like her. I haven't been around a lot of military women but I have been around a lot of lesbians.

Female Shepard and male Shepard are both very different characters to me. Weirdly enough. They're supposed to be the same but they're not. The voices are not, and that's a big part of what connects you to a character. IMO you have to play both from part 1 to part 2. By then you should have an idea as to what kinda person they are...

it's hard to describe. But it's really annoying to me to hear Meer say some of the things I'm used to MY shepard saying (the way that she says them), and I'm well aware that most male Shepard players go through the same thing with female Shepard.

im not homophobic but i did just realize something..
making male or female shep gay would result in the VA's having to do a gay voice acting session which i highly doubt they would be super pleased with idk just a thought

No doubt.  A lot of the time female Shepard just comes across much more brutally, even with the same Paragon conversation options.  My girlfriend plays a Paragon FemShep, and I sometimes cringe when she says things confrontationally that Male Shep says much more evenly.  It's not bad, it's just weird for someone who's used to the other actor.

Yeah, but you don't have to watch those youtube videos either.  I just think there's an unfair bias out there against gay guys.  It's always "lesbians are hot" but "gay guys are gross".  To be fair, I think there should be both options in the game.  Gays and lesbians play Mass Effect too, and while they're not the majority, it would at least be a tip of the hat to give them the option to simulate a relationship they find satisfying.

They did do gay VA with Ashley and Kaiden but it wasn't added to the game. That's all I'm gunna say and we should get back on-topic.
