*Yawn* Heya guys, how goes it at this late hour?

Dead, as you can tell.

Seems unlikely the enthusiasm will carry on till ME3. Though one ME3 info gets released it'll start up again.

Oh don't be such a downer. The ammount of discussion is bound to oscillate. We are still beating every other fan thread there is.

We'll be here. We are all loyal to Tali

And if we manage to get the attention of cast of ME2, especially Liz, and if she would be willing to let us know her thoughts on Tali, I'm sure things will pick up

The love for Tali has been around since before ME1 came out, it'll keep going 'til ME3 and through the many sequels/prequels to the ME trilogy. :P

And I'll be there every step of the way, with my Tali

I'm not saying there won't be fans, and people who make keep such threads as these alive, just the 100 pages a day thing is going to decay at a dramatic rate, to a handful a day.

I'll actually be doing the opposite come ME3. I spoiled far too much of ME2. Like garrus=archangle, Tali being exiled, etc. I'll be keeping myself completely in the dark once info starts leaking.

It was still exciting to experience it, even knowing what could happen.

Like through all the trailers you had the impression that Tali being exiled was a set-in-stone thing that was part of recruiting her, when in-fact it was her loyalty mission and she could not be exiled.

And yeah the rate of posting will likely decay.

The one thing I couldn't bear to spoil for myself was the Talimance itself, when the secrets leaked out I exiled myself from the forums 'til after I played ME2.

I've been on the receiving end of...zealous fans....i actually hope she isn't getting bombarded. Polite appreciation mail/email sure, but anything more and I worry.

And yes it'll oscillate and Tali will almost always, if not always, be the dominant fandom on the boards, but they too will decay. It's not a downer thing, it's just what is inevitable.

As for her opinion on Tali? Most actors and even voice actors have such odd views of the characters they portray. I typically prefer not to know their opinion, even as I appreciate their work.

If Liz Sroka posted on this thread, in some majorly positive way like "Aww your support is so sweet!" I think I'd go into a coma from the joy.

I'm a zealous fan with self-respect, meaning I don't do any of that crud that other zealous fans do, like annoy the hell out of the celebs.

Clearly Liz Sroka takes some kind of pride in her character, if she didn't she wouldn't do such a good job.

I'm quite sure Bioware has taken notice of our Tali fandom and will not dissapoint us by cutting her out from the upcoming ME3 because they'll know what will happen if they do...

Could just be professional pride, you don't get hired for doing a bad job at things hahah.

Well, you normally don't.

Still, it's hard to fact what you can hear in Tali's dialogue, the genuine sound of someone enjoying what they're doing.

If Tali can make it into ME2 mostly intact(and with upgrades!) then I have nothing to fear. BIOWARE must enjoy her character as well, look at all the love they gave her. New mature look, deep story line, YOU CAN SEE HER EYES. I might have over looked something but you understand.

I have faith she'll return, it just wouldn't be Shepard's team without Garrus and Tali. Could you imagine if we were given a Turian and a Quarian other than those 2? Bodies would litter the streets, at least until the game came out and everyone fell in love with them.

I'm not sure i'm going to buy Me3 if tali isn't a squad member ( and if there's no romance with her)

So that's why i support this thread !

Y'know something SHOULD happen to Tali, because then Shepard will be so grief-stricken he will get her re-built like he was and then she'd have all kinds of crazy cybernetics like him and her immune system would be awesome.

Yes, ofcourse, I would also hate to see it turn into a fan feeding frezny. I said this before, and I'll repeat it here. Over on the Candlekeeep Dungeons and Dragons forums there is a nice coexistance between fans and the authors (both novel authors and game designers). I haven't once seen it get out of hand or turn into something bad. Granted, we don't have nearly as much to discull with any of the cast, but I think it might be nice to have some kind of an interaction - direct or indirect. When someone is doing a good job, I always prefer to let them know it.:)

Seriously? Can you tell us about your experiences?

I am aware that what anyone of them has to say about their characters might dissapoint some people, but somehow i think that even more would be happy to have the chance to communicate

Should leave Liz Sroka be. Did a great job voicing Tali, but I would hate to see her being harassed, stalked, or obsessed over by the fans.

Awww :( *removes cameras from Liz Sroka's shower* JK

I love Liz Sroka for what she does, I would never dream of bothering her though, I respect her too much.

Back now guys :D Finally. Today sucked. I am a first aider right, and they scheduled a re-certification course over THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. from 7am to 4pm. That sucks. I missed an entire goddamn day and tomorrow will be the same.

At least I'm here again now :D

Hey Xena, how did your birthday go? I said happy birthday on it but I dunno if you saw or not.

Let us remember that the one we should thank the most is Liz Sroka for giving our Tali her perfect voice & personality we love, without her Tali just wouldn't be the same in coming ME3 anymore so everyone give credit for Liz Sroka's magnificent performance for giving Tali a soul! :-)

Hey hey! I don't think I saw, but thanks!

My birthday was OK, I got BioShock 2, which has been consuming most of my time, it's the second game to ever make me cry, aside from ME2. :o

Liz's work with Tali on ME has been superb. Totally creates the character. It would be nice to know that she's aware of the great appreciation that fans have for her work. Other than that I'd tend to agree, best to leave her be. Wouldn't want her ME experience soured in any way.
