Not enough time in the game to render every aunt, uncle and grandparent tali has. Who knows, they might even all be dead.

Shala'Raan was considered an Aunt, even if not by blood.
She had a father and mother.

Those are the someones. Miranda only had a sister and father. Jacob, just a dad. Garrus barely even mentions his father. Grunt had Okeer, Jack has no idea, Thane has a son and dead wife....

There just isn't time and no real place in the plot to go into depth of everyone's deep family. It might be nice to imagine such extra attention and detail for the characters you prefer, but it's hardly fair for everyone else who gets left in the dust.

I get why it's not a big part of the game. They make little pokes at it though. Maybe I'm just crazy.

Garrus ignored him. "Hey, how about we all go to the beach tomorrow with Shepard and show Rael how to be a man?"
"An excellent proposition Garrus. I will show him how to..."
"No way! I will teach him how to use a shotgun. You can't be a man if you can't use a shotgun!"
"I will show him how to use a sniper. Who knows, maybe he will be Archangel n°2!"
They continued on and on about who would teach what to Rael.
However, they weren't aware about another mistake they had made.
Rael was looking at his three uncles and muttered to himself.
"... B-B*tch?"
...
"B*TCH!" He giggled.
The three looked at him, horrified.
No...

Holy crap sir. I'm going to tell the guys about you. When me and the guys are done with Wedding Bells we could use your help doing the next chapter after Tali and Shepard get married. The kid has a s-s-studer. Thats awesome!

It uhh, involves manipulating the way the system works. The problem is, there is NO way to do it "normaly" as there is no option to import screenies or profile pics into the profile settings. However,  Dragon Age does.
To me more specific, Dragon Age : Origins (PC) allows you to have access to *stuff*
Then its just a matter of getting a screen cap your Shepard, edit a potrait pic with the dimensions of 146x146 pixels, save it to the character folder and upload the character.
Then use that pic from the profile edits options.

Yeah if you have Dragon Age you can change a DA character's portrait photo to a random pic you choose.

Has to be the PC version though, since I don't think you can "import" a substitute portrait that the game itself saves if you have the console version.

Yes. But as I know I am doing something that Bioware probably does not want me to. I thought that keeping it "safe" (it is still ME and a Bioware game, just MY personalised pic) would not get my account banned or worse right? I mean I am pretty sure if I can figure out a way to put a gif of say...bouncing boobies... that would pretty much put me in DEEEEEEEEEP crap. No?

I was thinking Captain Falcon, or perhaps my wesker pic, but i'll have to read the forums rules closer to ensure i'm not breaching protocol. I don't mind if a mod says remove it.

As for you, i've seen custom avatars for a while now, and since the last thread got to 1150 pages...modding the forum doesn't seem to be a big focus.

I thought it was funny as hell. Little kids cursing is fun-n-ny. You made the characters the way I think they would act. Not only that, but you bade it funny. Oh yea. Having an outside voice would do me and the crew good. You also have an original evolved idea.
Sorry about the sir thing... ment no disrespect. It's not like we can tell whos boy/girl on this thing.

If I were to critique it I'd focus on how out of character grunt and mordin were acting, I'd also comment on how odd those 3 being uncles would be.

I'd avoid the topic Rael'Zorah being a half quarian/human since thats creative freedom.

I'd then critique the predictable path of using a child misusing a word to create the illusion of cursing as typical.


Those are just initial thoughts. I avoid fanfiction though, I can't stomach it regardless the quality. When I like a character, I don't want to see someone else having that character jump through their own set of hoops, however lovingly created they are.

So I was a little biased from the start.

Keep writing though, you can't get better without practice. I should know, i used to be one. My early works were painful to read  hahahaha.

Ya, that is what I meant. I am pretty sure Bioware don't mind or perhaps turn a blind eye as long as you are still within " character" of the forums ...but bringing in stuff from sources, like say, *god forbid!* pokemon, would surely incur the wrath of the mod gods I would think.

Precisely.
As Tali herself says "We have to think of others all the time." They might be very enthusiastic physically, but I doubt they want to wake their neighbors, all 30 or so of them.
