Meh, there's nothing wrong with this.  But the nose is wrong like you said, and the asari alreayd have the "tentacle-head" niche filled.

when I saw this I thought "actually this I would not mind", it's as alien as you can get and still be appealing. Spot on about the nose, though, and something less Asari-looking in the head area.
