All Tech abilities in the first game were proximity grenades. If they *somehow* missed when used they would hover on spot until another enemy ran into them.

Tech lost a lot of it's awesomeness in the second game. Now it's all *Magic missile!* on me.

I thought they kept going and exploded after 10 secconds or when you hit the select button? Anyways that Tali cutscene in the Wards Back Alley was epic, it was the first "dashing commander" moment for Tai I imagine

How much more inspired could she be. All alone in a back ally surrounded by enimies. When outa no where some  guy you've never even seen backs you up and saves your life. Shep scored many a points w/ Tali that day.

Grenades and Tech grenades are two different things. Shepard has grenades that are tossed and remote detonated.

All tech abilities were grenades that instantly connected and latched onto enemies/walls. Go ahead and play the first game again, Tali/Garrus fill the room with these little puppies.

Tali is holding up a shield overload grenade in the pic <3
