I've never seen overload do any damage on non-synthetics in ME2. Same with Shield drain, both suffer the same limtations and both give their benefits when you use it on synthetic health. I'm not sure if Shield drain could hit multiple targets on second thought.

I kept accidently overloading Batarians in my engineer playthrough and wasting my cooldown so I know it does zero damage to organics. :unsure:


yeah you can, it does a reduced amount of damage but it still provides a momentary stun.  As well using overload on any enemy with a flamethrower will isntantly kill them. and using it on exploding barrels or crate will make them explode bigger and do more damage.


Hmm, I'll have to test out overload a tad more but that Batarian commander didn't even flinch when I zapped him by accident :P

I usually ignore the explosive barrels and such, a cooldown is a shame to waste on overload when an incinerate does the job just as well :lol:

I'm sorry to bring everyone else down like this, but this needs to be said and I need to vent:
Over the couple of days I've seen the resentment for this thread/tali fandom rise to a level I've never seen before.

Here are two recent prime examples:

Don't get me wrong, I love this thread and the community it's spawned, but the level of attacks and insults being levied at us constantly, makes coming here not fun and more of a chore.

I don't know why these people are constantly trying to ****** on other people's fun when they could simply ignore this thread (and us) and I'll probably never understand.

You really do enjoy inciting us dont you, whenever we come back onto the thread it seems you just try to find a way to incite.
