Over the couple of days I've seen the resentment for this thread/tali fandom rise to a level I've never seen before.

Don't get me wrong, I love this thread and the community it's spawned, but the level of attacks and insults being levied at us constantly, makes coming here not fun and more of a chore.

I don't know why these people are constantly trying to ****** on other people's fun when they could simply ignore this thread (and us) and I'll probably never understand.

Probably because it makes people feel better about themselves to belittle others. It's sad but true. I'd just ignore it.

It becomes hard to ignore with quotes like this:

Well, it doesn't matter what these ******* are thinking. For you should be important your Shepard and his/her actions and your opinions about it. 
Some people are just like that, you can't do anything about it so just ignore them and love Tali. That will give you strength.

From the brief scan I've done of some of the latter pages it appears that her demeanour has agitated you, since you perceive her to be actively trying to provoke you. I don't know whether that is the case or not, regardless my advice in either case would be the same: Crack a little smile. Focus on that light feeling of floating on air and let the disgruntlement, the stress, the frustration and anger wash over you and watch it roll off you like water rolls off a duck's feathers. How dare you!!!! My poll was a sociological survey too see; 1. who stand by their women even if they were hideous, 2. Who would discard her, 3. Who thinks Tali fans take this all too seriously. 4. What the Tali fans who take it too seriously would do. 

And your skewing the results of my poll by promoting it in a Tali fan heavy thread. It has turned from a beautiful unbiased poll to a useless piece of garbage filled with more Talifan propoganda.


By the way this was a "Joke"(I've never been on this thread till now)as was my poll. Buts Its even more funny that even the poll that brought up the idea Tali being ugly brought this reaction, due to one of the poll choices is laughing at your guys reactions. You guys need to settle down its a video game and video game forum.

By the way you could just as easily ignore my poll as anyone  of the Tali haters could have ignored this thread.

It didn't work.

Then perhaps it requires more time and effort. It isn't easy; knowing the path and walking it are two different things.
