Tut tut. Didn't anyone ever teach you that if you declare yourself the winner in an exchange you automatically lose in a debate? Poor form old chap. Furthermore, your commentary above only serves to reinforce your status as a troll despite your protestations otherwise. Which is it going to be? If you are a troll you will continue to stick around and argue. If you are not a troll you will skulk back to your oh-so-charming-little poll. Either option works for me.
As for friendship, see that's something you have to earn and you haven't earned my friendship yet. Keep trying but expect no guarantees on my behalf.
If your poll is dumb then why are you so defensive about others considering it dumb?
Better luck next time. Next!
Well I just declared myself the winner, because judging by your previous post it seemed like you quit. I've never "trolled" before unless you count this and making joke polls. I realize this seems trollish now(which is another trollish thing to say).
Im not so much defending the poll as trying to break you guys of your hypersensitivity over a fictional character. We can be friends even if we don't agree on something. I find my poll funny, some other people do, some others don't we can all still get along.
It's not like a come in here and say "F Tali shes a dumb b****." I made a poll that gave a few laughs for people who can handle that sort of thing.
You presume many things, of which a number are incorrect:
1) I didn't "quit" and incidentally I wasn't aware this had become a contest. Is your ego really that fragile and insecure?
2) By using the concept of "quit" you are implying, intentionally or otherwise, that this is a contest. If it is a contest you have already lost. I'll let the numbers of the Tali support threads speak for themselves.
3) You are defending your poll. If you aren't then why keep going on about it? Ah that's right, because you have taken it upon yourself to "educate" others. How noble of you...and very imperialistic too. We, and by "we" I'm referring to the Talimancers, aren't forcing our views on you in your preferred thread nor are we trying to educate you about what you should or should not feel or think about a fictional character. You are free to feel and think whatever you choose about any fictional character. That said, if you walk in to someone's home and consistently act in an obnoxious manner and then proclaim that it is intentional don't expect a warm welcome. It is downright poor manners and rude.
4) You presume I found your poll deeply offensive and am incapable of seeing any sort of humour in it. That is incorrect on both counts.
5) As for being able to "handle it", apparently you are having trouble handling the existence of a group of people having a different outlook to your own on this matter and then feel the need to ordain the mantle of self-proclaimed crusader to save our heathen Tali-loving souls. Thanks but no thanks. I'm not interested in anything you are selling.
6) The difference between what you are expressing in this discussion and what I'm expressing, is that my point of view tolerates dissent. Yours doesn't. Tell me again which of us is better at "handling it"?
Over to you. Oh, please do make it quick if you are going to respond since I'm on my way to bed - the hour grows late in this time zone. Cheers.
