I found it pretty funny.  It's so patently absurd that there's no need to fear it. Tali's svelte body quickly dispels any claims to the contrary.

You presume many things, of which a number are incorrect:

1) I didn't "quit" and incidentally I wasn't aware this had become a contest. Is your ego really that fragile and insecure?

2) By using the concept of "quit" you are implying, intentionally or otherwise, that this is a contest. If it is a contest you have already lost. I'll let the numbers of the Tali support threads speak for themselves.

3) You are defending your poll. If you aren't then why keep going on about it? Ah that's right, because you have taken it upon yourself to "educate" others. How noble of you...and very imperialistic too. We, and by "we" I'm referring to the Talimancers, aren't forcing our views on you in your preferred thread nor are we trying to educate you about what you should or should not feel or think about a fictional character. You are free to feel and think whatever you choose about any fictional character. That said, if you walk in to someone's home and consistently act in an obnoxious manner and then proclaim that it is intentional don't expect a warm welcome. It is downright poor manners and rude.

4) You presume I found your poll deeply offensive and am incapable of seeing any sort of humour in it. That is incorrect on both counts.

5) As for being able to "handle it", apparently you are having trouble handling the existence of a group of people having a different outlook to your own on this matter and then feel the need to ordain the mantle of self-proclaimed crusader to save our heathen Tali-loving souls. Thanks but no thanks. I'm not interested in anything you are selling.

6) The difference between what you are expressing in this discussion and what I'm expressing, is that my point of view tolerates dissent. Yours doesn't. Tell me again which of us is better at "handling it"?

First of all- 100 words or less please. I don't feel like reading or writing an essay everytime one of us responds.

1) Arguments I feel are contests. Or at least acts that have a winner or loser. I presumed you quit, because you didn't address any of my arguments and essentially all you did was call me a Martyr, which doesn't really add much to the debate.

2) I don't get what your saying. I lost my argument with you because there's a bunch of other Tali fans present. What do you consider this a contest of exactly? I thought this was an argument over whether my poll was too offensive to Tali fans or they should lighten up.

3) I am defending my right to create stupid polls over whatever the hell I feel like. Are you joking?; I can't go 10 seconds on this forum in any thread without seeing a poll or a thread about how great Tali is, your forcing your views on me as much as my poll is forcing anything on you. I don't think either is forcing anything on anyone unless they are insane. You came to my poll I came to your thread, they are both public domains. And I didn't try to stir anything up, I just said my poll was a joke and if you take offense to it, it's pretty sad.

4) Then whats the argument for. If you got a laugh or didn't, I don't care. As long as you know its a joke. Some of you in here are acting like you were being persecuted over the poll.

5) I don't understand what your saying again, I'm fine with your group. I have nothing against you. In fact I'm enjoying your thread. You can love Tali if you want. I just don't want anyone to cry themselves to sleep over a dumb poll that I created as a joke.

6) As stated above, I don't care if you like Tali. I never did. I just think it's incredibly illogical to get upset over something so trivial.

This isn't about Tali, it's about being so sensitive over a issue that shouldn't be a big deal to anyone.
