I've done some preliminary sketches of Tali in flux doing various things (dancing, gambling, sitting with shepard) and I like it so far. Anyone else got other ideas?

Wait I just thought of something, you guys know that painting of the dogs playing poker? I think I might do that but with quarians! Super poker faces FTW. It would be very hard, but so worth it I think.

Draw her using her knife.

I've done 6 sketches so far, not sure which one I like best.

A good idea as well. I'll see what I can do.

What about one of her in engineering fixing stuff? Holding a wrench with engine grease all over:D

I really like the poker idea.  But instead of just a bunch of quarians, it should be of Tali, Shepard, and engineers Gabby and Donnelly.

NOICE! Even better!

With Garrus looking over in contemplation.

I just said that.

And Garrus too please? :o

Never drawn a Turian but I'll try! You guys will be the first to see it once it's done. (Maybe Sunday at the earliest)

We haven't discussed this:

Tali is so damn incredible as an Engineer Tech-babe she could make the Mako not suck.

Discuss.

She liked the Mako. See here: :D

Tali: "You know, Shepard, I kinda miss the Mako."
Shepard: "Really? It seems like most of the crew hated it. They always complained about how cramped it was."
Tali: "Well, I kinda liked that. You were always the driver, and as the engineer I always had to sit next to you to monitor systems and run diagnostics in combat. I didn't mind it being so cramped..

You sure are making me "D'awwww" a lot tonight.

But there's got to be a way to do so without exposing the work of Tali's father.
Legion himself said that some kind of peace could be made between the Geth and the 'Creators'. I guess that many quarians wouldn't be happy about such a thing, but would it really be worse then war?
As much as I don't want to admit it, I think if the quarians went to war with the Geth, then they would lose, espechally if don't want to cause any major damage to their planet.

I think it would be significantly worse than losing a war.  It seems to me like if the quarians actually tried to fight the geth, they would be slaughtered worse than any "fair fight" ever.  Think back to when they first tried to kill off the geth 300 years ago.  There was what, 100x more quarians and less geth?  And they could take a bullet or a breath without getting sick or dying.  If a few pieces and random geth on the Alarai could cause enough problems that scuttling the ship was the best option, what hope would quarians have against a geth force that has had centuries to build up?  It isn't like the geth are going to be less advanced or something than the quarians.  In any straight fight, I imagine the quarians would be severley out gunned, out manned and even worse, they're in a fish out of water scenario with their immune systems.  All indications are the geth rebuild very fast.  Any guesses on how many there actually are?  it has to be way more than the amount of quarians.

That leaves the whole virus plan, or exterminating the geth from orbit, or some other one sided plan where the geth don't have a chance to fight back.  Those just don't seem like likely options to me.

Luckily for the quarians, the geth don't hold grudges, and have no reason to oppose the quarians if they just wised up and offered peace.  The geth think logically, not emotionally.  A planet that they don't need for ensured peace is a nice trade.  I know this is a Tali thread, but to me the entire onus for the quarians not having a homeworld is on their stubborness and leftover hate.  I would be just fine if the solution in ME3 was as simple as having the quarians walk in peacefully and live happily ever after.

I think when you consider the following:

1. Geth don't hold a grudge.
2. They've been taking care of the planet
3. They don't even use the planet
4. Their ultimate goal has nothing to do with the Quarians, or even Organics

That it's extremely likely that the Quarians will get their home back. At least it'll be possible, anyway, based on your choices.

I just hope that enough of them don't hate the geth on principle.  A lot of quarians hate geth because of the Morning War and don't realize that the geth don't resent the quarians at all, let alone want to go to war with them.

And on that note, I'm off to bed.  Keelah Se'lai.

To me it's more about loyalty than anything, of all the squadmates from ME1, only Tali and Garrus were loyal enough to return to Shepard's side. In Garrus's case it was for medical treatment, but he still stayed. Tali could've just as easily returned to the fleet saying she had a responsibility to her people(Wrex), or that she'd never work for Cerberus(Kaiden/Ash), but no, she comes right out and says, "I'm here for YOU Shepard, not them".
As for a LI, what better choice is there? Ash and Liara have their good points, but neither one would come back to the Normandy. The other girls in ME2, Jack has issues(lots of them) but even she seems preferable to Miranda. Only 2 people on the ship with private quarters, and she wants to get it on in Tali's workspace?! Tali is the only LI who shows a genuine interest in Shepard (not just lust) even before the romance plot begins.
My first playthrough, I planned on staying loyal to Liara no matter what, then I saw her on Illium. The whole "asari commando" line, great character development, but if she's turning into her mother, that's a relationship breaker. Then I went to Haestrom, and I heard Tali's recording, "I wish Shepard were here..." That settled it. She was already my favorite squadmate from ME1, now she's my only LI choice.

I am a Talimancer.

Summed up how I feel perfectly. Well done.

Keep it going folks. For Tali! :)

Exactly. The Geth are willing to make peace, and I think it's the smart idea for all of the reasons you listed, as well as the fact that the Geth could re-build their numbers in a fraction of the time that the quarians can.
Now, don't get me wrong; I love the quarians. Any time I see one getting harassed I step in and put a stop to that ****.
I'm basicly their Batman.
There's nothing I would like more than for Tali to have a place to really call home other then a giant space fleet, but war is not the answer.

Well that's where the whole endless supply of "heretics" come in.  By game rules, heretics can make up 1% of actual geth, and we can kill only them for the entirety of the game. :)

...I'm going to let the Pokemon thing go. I still hold it holds no relevance to anything.

I look forward to more tali art. Also is any one working on a heavy metal tribute to tali? Just throwing it out there.
