Saw Miranda's love scene on youtube. Why are they in engineering? They both have their own rooms. Does Shep wish it was Tali, hence being in engineering, or is Miranda sending a message to Tali?

No that isn't it at  all. That must be after you just say you're interested. Not after you walk down to teh drive core. Mine was waaaay worse than that, and yes she rages at you.        

Are you able to record the scene and post it on YouTube? I'd be very interested in watching that.

There was some speculation about that in the previous thread. Some hypothesized that Miranda was dominating as "queen bee" on the Normandy, as well as perhaps showcasing a more voyeuristic side of herself.

I actually see Miranda and Tali being in ME3... along with Ash/Kai, Garrus, Grunt, Wrex, Liara, etc.

Miranda is loyal to TIM though, and if you went with paragon option at the end of ME2 that'll be pretty awkward. Not to mention shes a b****. TBH if I could figure out how I could have figured out how to have gotten her, Jack, and Zaeed killed w/o loosing any of the others I woulda done it.

If you bring Miranda along as one of two team members against the final boss and she is the one that dials TIM through, she renders her resignation to TIM right then and there via the omni-tool display.

When you are taken to Fort Darkon after freeing Queen Anora. You have to pick two compaions to bust you out (or bust yourself out) Similer to KotOR when you're captured by the Levathen.

missed that. you would think with all the tension w/ jack, miranda would have tried messing w/ Jack's head instead. Maybe scared? Or Tali the bigger threat.

I feel badly in that I know I'm missing parts of the game, but I've had no interest in romancing anyone BUT Tali.



Miranda is a turn-off. A little self absorbed. I hear she thaws at the end of a Para run, but I missed it. For that battle I want 'people' there that I felt some attatchment to. She wasn't it.



I don't hate her or Jack, but not only are they not terribly likeable they project "needy" so brightly you can see it from orbit. Being with them isn't a relationship, it's another career. I've been with a Miranda and it was the most emotionally exhausting relationship I've ever had.



They need Shepard to fill deficiecies in themselves.



She doesn't need him. Tali WANTS Shepard. Huge difference. She gives solid reasons for wanting to be in his life. Add to that sweetly shy, giving, selfless and you have someone it'd be hard not to love.



She's the girl a Paragon Shep would be proud to have and one a Renegade would work to begin to be worthy of.



Nicely written, deftly acted. She just works.



And of course, she needs to be a squaddie and LI in ME3. No little throwaway cameos, please.

not a lot. new post in fanfic, a few other fanfics listed and some more fan art. we hit 1150 in the old one and 900 something in the first so grats on over 2000!

Well trying to go from memory and a few qucik shots in some You Tube vids, I came up with these two for my rough sketch of Tali.

I nix'd the first one because her lower legs were too human.  I like the second one better.  Going to go ahead with a quick digital paint on it tonight or maybe tomorrow, will post it when done.

What do the Tali fans think? The second one over the first?  Do you see any glaring omitions?

My theory on why Miranda wants the engineering room is probably because 1) as she says she wants the best place to do it, and it's a rather awesome room (or she's just kinky), or 2) The security and listening devices aren't installed near the drive core due to interference or safety protocol. Who wants the Illusive man to see them do the nasty, or worry about being in "The Normandy Gone Wild"?



ANyways, I came in to say Woot for Tali, and I hope there is more Shepard/Tali Love in ME3 and maybe in future DLC installments. Out of the whole female romance options, she's the most innocent and loving of the group (Even in ME1's options. Ash hates you for joining Cerberus and Liara has joined the Dark side of Biotics). I'm starting a new mass effect career so I can choose Tali without getting the cheating stuff they said will be in ME3.
