I see malnourishment in the worst cases.  Those who would starve themselves for the sake of adding colorful plumage in an attempt to attract potential mates, which is all "fashion" really is.  Feathers.

As primates, we don't rock feathers.  And those women that would starve themselves to the point I wish to stand up and scream "FOR  THE  LOVE  OF  GOD  SOMEONE  GIVE  THAT  POOR  WOMAN  A  SANDWICH!" to better display these artificial feathers, would be better served by concentrating on the aspects that make primates attractive to one-another.

I find a healthy body, in many shapes and sizes, attractive.  But I have never seen a plumage display that Kate Moss types wear around to be so.  In fact I find those who go that route supremely unattractive, because it signifies to me and my genes, that this person cannot win a mate upon his or her own merits, and must disguise themselves in bird trappings to distract from this fact.

Yes thats why most magazines are using photoshop to make the cover girls look thinner than the actually are... and then there was the story of the model who was fired because she was a size 4 and too fat... A SIZE 4.... When did being a size  4 make you fat.    

What i meant by illusion is that there is a mental conditioning being hammered in psyche of  majority of  ladies that  health,  and sexy = thin and size 0.  That is not true and one of the reason why we see some many with eating disorders,  The "Whatever" Diet. I could go on and on.    

And some of those Runway models i look at them and want to cook em  a full course meal and feed them.

Hips imply the fertility of a woman(breasts/ass/waist also). The hips of a woman grow at puberity - meaning that's she's ready to get pregnant. Most men are attracted to that because, you know, of our hormones. We humans reproduces to keep our race alive.

Eh, but the thing is that I don't think runway models are the dominant model for "attractive" in mass media.  Specifically in the fashion industry?  Yes, probably; perhaps because designers like to have coathangers to model their ridiculous Lady GaGa-esque clothing on.  But the women that appear in GQ centerfolds and such?  They're much more apt to be lingerie or swimsuit models -- women who are usually far more voluptuous than other fashion models.  Bar Rafaeli, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian, or Halle Berry?  I wouldn't describe any of them as having the "body of a 13 year old".  In fact, that whole "looks like a boy" thing is a vast exaggeration that doesn't even apply to most runway models.  Even very slender women can have curves.  Although, granted, a lot of runway models are unhealthily underweight, and it isn't flattering.
