haha, no global recharge time, I go through as an Adept with Tali and Garrus and just start spamming Singularity/Overload/Overload/Damping/Sabotage raep raep raep lol and also I swear they had better combat AI in ME1 but that's probably cuz of the no recharge time
Losing the inventory system was nice though, I hated flipping open my inventory after a fight and having to omni-gel the majority of the loot just to stem the tide of useless items.
! Inventory
>_>
I miss having the option to change your party members look with different armor though. I also miss having the full body model changing weapons as you changed their gear. Taking away the inventory system killed a lot of the RPG from the game but in the end it was not a deal breaker for me. Over all I love most of the changes they made to this game. I just didnt think Tali needed to switch to a shot gun.

I know right?! I loved popping open the power menu and having just this huuuuuge list of abilities to fling at my enemies.
I know they did a good job simplifying the game and your teammates are still useful but now they almost feel pigeon-holed. Now Tali goes from the lord of death (she has a shotgun!) to the best anti-synthetic character in the game.
Bit of a drop on the resume but I'll always keep her around.
Yeah, Tali was a wrecking ball in ME1. Now in ME2, she's just got that drone and the semi useful AI hacking and shield drain.
If it makes you feel any better Tali's Shield drain is a supped up Overload. Same damage, same limitations.
Doesn't blow up canisters or stun synthetics but will recharge shields and has a shorter cooldown.

Well for me I'm battling the inventory after every fire fight breaking everything down in the search for Colossus X armour for all my teammates. Once Everyone is geared I give up entirely on the inventory.

I still dont under stand why they gave my baby a shotgun even though she has low health and weak armor. It makes no sense at all. Oh well that is why I changed things up a bit and gave her a long range weapon.
I disagree. She may have naturally weak HP and armor, but of all the squaddies with shotguns, she dies the least except for Grunt. I increase her health to maximum immediately cuz I'm on Insanity, and she really does have good combat AI. In fact, I'm now with Tali and her shotgun and Garrus with his sniper. Garrus is the one dying all the time, it makes no sense.
Just wanna repost this for fun cuz it's how I feel when finally talking about Quarian government in ME2 just like in M1E1

My first playthrough of ME1 I never found any quarian armor either. I just thought there wasn't any or something. Then on the second playthrough I found ONE upgrade, it was a low one too, like Phoenix or something crappy like that. But at least it was something new and different.

I always saved right before I talked to Morlan so I could keep trying until I got Quarian Armour.

I dont know about that. I keep Tali as a strong support character in this game because of Chikkita and AI hacking. Chikkita keep the whole crew alive but I found that direct control over her actions was the best way to go for me. Get in this spot and use this power at this time. She never seemed to notice when she was getting hit so I would just pull her away from direct fighting. I just wish she could hack the heavy mechs. On insanity they are a beast for real.

I only ever did the BTDS mission once. I bought it RIGHT before ME2 came out because there was some special on xbl where if you bought two EA game addons you got 800 points refunded.

It was pretty lame. Glad I waited for the special. It wasn't worth 800 points. I think it took me 30-45 minutes to finish it. And I did a lot of exploring on that asteroid.
