I just never liked Ash.  She struck me the wrong way every time I played the game.  I guess I will have to do a play through with her as my ME1 LI just to see what happens when she finds out I am with a non Terran.  Her xenophobia is going to cause a lot of havoc for sure.

The thing I liked about Ash is that you can kind of "cure" her xenophobia with some paragon dialogue.  It fit in with my Shepard.  She was a fellow soldier, he was a commanding officer.  His main strength is bringing the best out of his team and putting it on the line for the good of everyone.  It seemed like a more natural relationship to pursue than one with a blue girl who finds Shepard interesting like an artefact.

Dang.  I just finished my Super-Paragon (Tali deserves no less!) ME1 playthrough.  For all it's annoyances, it's still such a great game.  I decided to romance Ashe.  I know it sounds weird, since Tali is gonna be my main galactic gal, but I figure this:

the devs have said that romance choices, and if you stay loyal or not to your ME1 LI, will have an effect on ME3.  Any sort of tension between characters is gonna be a game mechanic that I don't want to miss.  If I  had skipped a LI in ME1, I feel like I'd be losing out on something in both ME1 AND ME3.

I like Ashe, she's a real person.  Something about Liara always struck me as a little shallow.  But I figured that having a Human Soldier/Human Soldier romance made the kind of story I was looking for in ME1.

At any rate, I'm excited to import this Shepard to ME2, and get some Talimancing going on.  She capped Saren in the head (just to make sure), and now it's time to squash some collectors.

Keelah se'lai fellas.

I'm with this guy.  Not about Ash, but about not worrying too much about having had an LI before.  I want to see the fireworks (or waterworks, as they may be).

I must agree then.  There were a lot of times others would just stand in the open and start shooting without cover and just die instantly.  I actually wish you could play this game online some times because human co op would rock in this game.  If nothing else it would make insanity a lot more playable.

I've been craving online mass effect since the first one. They've laid the ground work for it by teasing us with the class system and hinting each alien had a different sub mix of talents.

Turian Agent, Krogan Battlemaster, Quarian Mechanist.

Need me some online play soon or Im going to break down crying.:crying:

I would really love to see this done right.  They have the game play and a world almost as deep as Star Trek and Star Wars.  If they make it I will buy it.

They have everything they need honestly. The jump to online play is just figuring out the net code and so long as you don't have PvP you can cut a ton of corners allowing for a much more onscreen action since fewer "checks" would be needed on all the player's present.

Turian agent or Quarian marine, either is fine just lemme play the game online! <_<

I never really liked ashley, to much racist imo. She signed her contract for death when saying something in me1 like "is it a good idea letting the aliens walk all around the ship"? Bah ...

Btw. am I the only one that finds Tali's behaviour when it comes to explaining she likes shepard reminds a bit of liara from me1. The cute way of not knowing how to express herself in that specific situation. Of course, Tali is much different, but I must admit some dialogue lines reminded me a lot of liara in me1

I thought I'd seen it too, which is why I'm so perplexed that it isn't working for me.  Maybe I was hallucinating though, maybe it was only color change that I've seen (which does work, by the way.)  So odd that I can't alter text size.  Perhaps Bioware has done this intentionally to prevent people making obnoxiously formatted posts to mess with people's eyes.

I wasn't gonna do anything bad with it, Bioware.  Honest!  Just shrinking down some ASCII, I swear.:innocent:

Actually you should go and read between the lines a bit more when you chat with her. She doesn't change her feelings rather she just trusts yours more now and will always defer to your judgement.

With Shepard gone... Who knows what she became.
