She is...Mean in Mass effect 2.

I don't know what she's like if you romanced her in ME1, but from what I saw, yes, Liara is a **** if you didn't.

Even so, she's more deadset on getting revenge on the Shadow Broker even if you DID romance her in ME1. The only reason she's deadset on getting revenge is so she can make up for stealing your body.

I mean, if the object that inspired revenge walked in your door and said "Petty revenge is not worth it, come with me." and she STILL chose petty revenge, how does that say she loved you?

I used the same logic to justify my 'betrayal' of Ashley. Love is supposed to be more powerful than anything. Yet she turned her back and walked away from me, choosing country over me. Tali had no such problem- Tali knew what was the right thing to do, Tali knew that I was doing the right thing, and she was willing to put her personal feelings aside- even become an outcast to her people- to continue doing the right thing.

That, my friends, is love. That is why Tali is superior to any of the Mass Effect 1 romances.

And the mere fact that she loves Shepard so much to risk her own death just so she can be with him- when there are alternatives (nerve stimulation, etc.). I mean, Miranda or Jake have no risks. Tali proves her love for you when she throws caution to the wind and decides "I must have him. For real."

Of course, I'm preaching to the choir right now. We Talimancers know all I speak to be true.

Eh?  That convo goes something like:  her talking about linking suits, getting all flustered, and then Shep ca ask if she's hitting on him.  That leads to her line about the "dashing commander."  Seems like she pretty much admits to flirting, even if was fumbled and not-quite-intentional.
