I find Miranda's body waaaayyyy more compelling to be frank. I watched about 40 seconds of that video and then got bored.

Aye, "sometimes" being the operative word. Personally I don't find myself turned on by the model Miranda is based on. I recognize she has features that would be considered attractive by a wide swath of Western society in general but she lacks any sort of "spark" for me. Perhaps if I met her in person and had the benefit of experiencing her personlity up close that might change but as it stands, thanks but no thanks sweetheart.

Have you seen anything of Chuck? I watched a few shows to find out why everyone was raving about Yvonne Strahovski being in ME2, and I guess she really endeared herself on me that way

Fact is, we don't even know if for instance Turian females would look any different from their males to human eyes.

Also, I personally don't consider invention of razor a valid reason to start shaving  Razor is a very dangerous instrument 
However, I imagine Alliance personnel would have strict regulations regarding there looks and the rest of humans would probably be under a great deal of peer pressure to not look very different. I can imagine some types still growing an unkempt beard, but there would definitely not be many.
There's not as much variance as there used to be, even among humans, though. It's stated in one of the ME books, as the result of increased globalism and numerous inter-continential marriages... Everyone is starting to look pretty much the same, pale skin and blond hair are rare at that time. Imperfections of human body, like fat, were removed through gene manipulation if I remember correct...
