Tali would have liked seeing her homeworld in person more than just getting a flower. "You went to the Quarian homeworld and you didn't bring me along?" Just seemed like the first thing that would come to Tali's mind.

My first thought was that Tali would be too nervous, hesitant, and mistrustful of Legion.  I figured that bringing something back would show her that it was safe and make her trip home a bit less worrisome.  It isn't like they couldn't all go back together

I think she may also start freaking out if Shepard just disappeared with Legion one day without any word as to where they were going. She would break every bone in Joker's fragile body if it meant finding--and rescuing, if need be--him faster. So asking her if she wanted to come along is probably the best idea.

Yeah that's true. Something like: "I think you'd be happy to know, Tali, the Geth consensus is that they wouldn't have a problem with both of us going back there, if you want to see your Homeworld for yourself. <3"

How would Tali have freckles though? She's never exposed to sunlight.

Possible pigmentation change for mate attraction pre-exile. Not as result of exposure to starlight. Possible. However. No freckles just as possible.
