Ignoring issues is a sure fire way to ensure that nothing is resolved.

To be fair, I think the last 20 pages have been incredibly cordial for the amount of arguing.  There has been no personal attacks or anything.  I'm really impressed personally.

Now if the argument takes the religious turn that it looks like we're heading to, that could change

That is an... interesting form of morality.  In fact, most would say that this is a highly immoral position.
It implies that killing innocents makes you superior to those innocents, and elevates the importance of martial strength over all other abilities, including emotional and moral reasoning.  Societies built entirely on martial strength are most often conquerors and expansionists, since the foundations of their society are built around the military-industrial complex.

I'm glad the Geth do not share your sort of reasoning.  Between the Geth and a militaristic, imperialist society of organics, the Geth seem by far the more benign.

That is your evaluation, but I disagree.  Legion spells out why this is not the case: organic creatures are already biased against machine intelligences, and they are destroyed when encountered 100% of the time.  The Geth's approach has been to withdraw and study.  They want to know what the organics reaction will be before they contact them, and they cannot know that until they understand organics.  This is an understanding that they have not achieved yet, but that they are working towards.  This seems like a very reasonable approach to me.

Why can't they do that while declaring the Sovereignty of the Geth? As it stands, all ships that enter Geth space are destroyed. That's not really conductive to good diplomatic relations . . .

Well, I just think its odd. All other quarian females, even the high ranking ones on the admiralty board, have generic suits. Why is Tali's so fancy? Where did she get it? Does it have the neural stimulators built into it like the quarian on Illium has? These are the questions we need to ask.
