Never touch the stuff.  I was a fine dining bartender for eight years.  I may not know how to make a neon-colored shot with a suggestive name, but if you want a real drink, I'm passable.

I'll admit to liking some of the trendy new bull**** like <energy drink> and vodka, but most of the time I drink old cocktails that no one knows how to make anymore.  One of my faves is a Sidecar, but they screw them up at most bars.  I don't want a damn cherry in my Sidecar, it isn't a Cosmo for Chrissake

No cherry.  Brandy, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice shaken and strained into a sugar-rimmed glass.  Swapping the brandy out for a quality medium-bodied rum was actually one of my signature drinks.

Lol, nothing says the ladies can't enjoy some fine booze, too

To be honest, I have to admit to being kind of a "girly" drinker (no offense intended, haha).  I don't drink stuff straight up because I honestly don't like the taste of most alcohol.  I do think it tastes good when paired with certain flavors though, which is why I usually only drink cocktails.
