Oh hell, make sure you run 'em by somebody first.  There's a LOT of garbage out there.  Like a 9:1 ratio, anyway.  The good stuff is really good, though.

Out of the ones I've read, one of the best I can remember off the top of my head is Arkham Asylum. Serious house on serious earth.

The art just floored me.
