Think it's still in the early stages so have to wait a bit yet methinks. Think the 3rd volume's still in development.
'Cause then it would be really interesting to see if they provided an explanation for her change. I found it most unbelievable that she could change that much in two years, especially considering her lifespan.
For humans to do a personality 180º in only two years requires something really major, like being in a war or losing our entire family. We humans only live 80 years on average (I guess 100 or so in ME), but Asari live over 1,000 years: for easy math we'll just say they live 10 times longer. So for Liara to change in two years is like a human changing in two and a half months. Wouldn't make much sense unless something REALLY CRAZY happened; not just her partner getting captured by the Shadow Broker. Practically Tali's entire team died twice: once on Freedom's Progress and again on Haestrom, and she held together ok.
