Yeah, but I get the feeling that she more did it for the benefit of herself than for Shepard or the relationship.  She's simply become a really egocentric, selfish person, imo.  Maybe I seem like I'm being a bit harsh, but IRL I'm extremely unattracted to those type of people.

Can someone explain to me how recovering your body is an act of love?  Kaidan or Garrus or Wrex wouldn't have done the exact same thing if asked?  TIM would have recovered your body, he clearly doesn't love you.  Any smart person would save the biggest hero in the galaxy if given the choice.

Well my attitude is based on my real-life view of relationships.  If you want me, you need to act like it: you can't ditch me for your own selfish reasons and expect me to happily come back when you change your mind.  It would especially irritate me if she didn't give me a good explanation of why she did it.  I mean, if in ME 3 Liara explains why and apologizes, I'll understand and we can still be friends.  But you get one shot with me, so I'm not going to take her back.  Tali stuck with me the whole time: she's the easy choice.

If you feel the need to report this thread then do what you feel you must. It will either fail or it will end with this thread being locked...In which case a new thread with many of the same individuals and much of the same behaviour will crop up. Rinse and repeat.

Or you could adopt the stance that I suspect BioWare may have taken, which is to leave this thread be more or less barring some truly glaring and persistent offensive violations of BioWare's rules and let it run its course with little or not interference in other threads. If you can't stop something outright, or if doing so may cause more loss than gains, it may be preferable to simply contain it (a rea life example would be the Cold War containment policy of the US towards the USSR).

KFD, you have the best method of diffusing conflicts with logic and analogy that I have seen. I salute you!

I personally think your assessment is way off, and you aren't even willing to give the person who saved your life the benefit of the doubt?  I mean, what benefit does she get out of it for herself anyway?  She did it for YOU.

Well either way, I'm sticking with Tali.  It would be pretty hard not to even if Liara hadn't left you in the first place because...come on...it's Tali!

Btw, I keep hearing this rumor of "Liara DLC": is this something legitemate Bioware has discussed, or did people "just decide" there should be a DLC with her and it's been bouncing around the forums long enough to mistranslate into an planned download?
