But I don't know if Tali would have cybernetic implants. Plus that would mean all quarians would have cyber eyes...and that's just not feasible...I think at least

Out of game. Bioware did it. In game. Could be Bioluminescence. High reflectivity of HUD. Or cybernetics. First two more likely than last. Unknown until Bioware resolves.

Anyone else starting to hate the loyalty mission that is Tali's?(didn't want to put hate and Tali next to each other). It's so sad. The whole time Tali is speaking either in fear, anger, remorse, or self defense. I can't stand hearing her cry saying "damnit, damnit" and then her father. The entire mission just makes me feel bad. Thankfully it ends well (for us anyway), but 90% of it was heart-wrenching.

The texture underneath the helmet has no such details, I think it is simply a shadow or some other lighting effect arising from the underlying low-rez texture, the lighting, and the contours of Tali's face's model.

I think they meant to let us know that her face is generally human in form.  Cheekbones, brow ridges, nose, mouth.. sure that stuff is there.  But I don't think they're giving us details like eyebrows.  Even her eyes -- I really don't think they glow.  I think they light them up in order to make it easier for her to be expressive behind her helmet.

It's possible you're right, but if that is just a shadow or whatever, it's very well placed and matches up with the shape of her eye very well.
I'm probably just seeing that I want to see since I deeply hope that Tali has hair.

Anyway, you're right that BioWare is (for the time being) hinting at the general Quarian facial structure.

When you say 'they light them up' are you talking about BioWare doing that, or something that Quarians are doing?

Honestly, I can't see BioWare just making the Quarian eyes glow just for the hell of it. Yes, it serves a purpose that they do, but I have to believe that they glow because of something in their biology. . .which is very, VERY convenient.

Cybernetics for all Quarians wouldn't be feasible...after all every single Quarian you see has glowing eyes...

I doubt her eyes were cybernetically enhanced but in her class evolving skill it does say some were used to improve her defenses.

Harbinger even mentions she was considered for them (the cybernetics) but the immune system was too weak.
