Tali is probably the most interesting love interest (although, I haven't romanced Miranda or Jack, yet) for male characters. But damn, is she useless in battle. Is it just me or does she go down in an instant in the middle of fire fights. I feel like I'm always using Unity to to revive her.
The best? No. Useless? Not at all. I got her in my squad for every mission on Insanity and so far she dies just as much as the rest of my squad. It's probably tactics, cuz I maxxed out her health and I rarely make her use her shotgun and am pretty good at moving them around. The main part that I like about having Tali in my squad is that she doesn't hop on top of boxes and stand there with no cover till they die. Miranda, Jack, and Jacob so far are the most useless characters for me because they do that ALL the time.
yeah but you can kill those scions while they're still hiding behind that wall. both of em.Commandr Bond wrote...
I had the same problem, but I was using an imported lvl 30 infiltrator. I restarted as a new sentinel and didn't have too much of a problem until the collector ship.cannedcream wrote...
That achievement for beating the game on Insanity is one I will never get. I managed to make it to the fight before meeting up with Kadin/Ash before I gave up and dropped the difficulty.
I was dying several times in nearly every firefight and just was not having fun.
Yeah, I know, I suck. <_<
BioWare was asking for a shot to the mouth when they unleashed waves of armored husks on us in a confined space while being shot at by near undodgeable rounds. Insanity earns its title.

I don't know, I use Tali quite a bit on my Insanity run, the drone her pulls out is great for distraction while you snipe. Just plan ahead and put your team mates behind cover. They'll all last longer. Playing on the easier modes, Tali is great when placed in a flanking position behind cover as she'll take pot shots with that shot gun while the enemy is more or less concentrating on you.

I'm probably exaggerating it a bit; I used Tali on Miranda's loyalty mission and didn't have a problem. What I mean is the more difficult sections (collector ship/reaper iff). On easier difficulties I bring her with me on about every mission.Archonsg wrote...

I'm confused. They're there immediately when you enter. As are the husks.BigKahuna25 wrote...

I love her Combat Drone ability, but does she has strange weaknesses that I'm not aware of? I'm not expecting her to be as sturdy as Grunt, but it does seem as if she dies a lot.Goat_Shepard wrote...

Jacob also loves to run DIRECTLY into my line of fire and then stand there. <_<
Shepard: Damn it, Jacob! I'm not going to use Unity on you because then you won't learn anything.

when you open the big door don't go through. one's bulbous part is sticking out the right side of the wall and the other's gun is sticking out the other side. you can shoot them or hit them with powers from there.Commandr Bond wrote...
