If you have something unpleasant to talk about, start your own thread. It's easy, plus it will be nice when that thread gets locked and not this one. Well, those are my two cents. Like I said, when people stop taking a stand to keep this Thread Tali Love all the way, the Trolls and the Hateful people win and this thing will be done. Just, try to keep that in mind.

Well-said, another thing I just want to add to that:

I don't think this applies to  most of you here because most of you are regulars who have good discussions about Tali, however, this was happening a lot today: random people were coming in and saying things like "Wow, this is stupid because we aren't talking about Tali" or "Stop talking about dumb stuff and get back on topic." 

If you want to say things like this, it's YOUR job to get the thread back on topic.  We go off topic sometimes to take breaks from talking about Tali or to get to know each other better.  If you don't like that, you have two options:

1.  Leave
2.  Bring up a really interesting topic about Tali and sell it

But dont' come onto the thread expecting other people to entertain you with Tali discussions and not contribute yourself.  If you dont' have anything to say, you're not interested enough.  Find another thread.

You guys might see me copy-paste this  if I start to see such comments again.

So Tali Love in the old forums got a lot of hate cuz it wasn't a huge hit yet? I figure there would be more trolls once she got insanely popular. 

TC should be able to blank out any post...words are one thing but nasty pictures and links to even nastier pictures shouldn't be allowed. Anyways, "fighting back" should always be done in one of two ways: With sarcasm, or with negligence. Negligence is tougher but more effective I think.

Anyways I'm gunna get my Tali on.

I think that the lack of any form of canon makes it more difficult for them to put material out. The quality of what we have is good, its just...you know...NEED MORE

Much liek cowbell, you can never have enough Mass Effect novels.
Hell, there's a lot of good fanficiton floating around out there. Pay a few of these guys some royalites and publish their stuff.
Anyway, of the two books, is there one you would suggest over the other or are these being written in some kind of order that I have to read them in?

Actually as near as I can tell, there is no Codex entry for Rannoch?  Or I didn't see one at least.  I noticed that this info about Rannoch is from MEWiki, although I might point out a factual error in the information.  It is possible that it's star is older and more orange than Sol, but it is not more orange because it is older than Sol.

Stars do not get more orange as they age.  This would mean that they cooled off.  In fact, the opposite happens; stars generally increase fusion rate and temperature as they age, a process that occurrs only very gradually over the course of billions of years.  A star only gets redder and cooler in the very last stages of its life, when it turns into a red giant.

If Rannoch's star is both older and more orange than Sol, it is probably of spectral type K, meaning that it has weaker luminosity but will live perhaps 3 or 4 times as long as our sun will.

I like Tali, but I'd never choose her as a love interest. I think Shepard is an idiot for getting her into bed before looking at her face.



Seriously, since no one human has really seen a quarian face before this is playing with fire. If she has a face like a krogan, how could he continue? I would have laughed in the cut-scene if he put her mask right back on after he took it off.
